Glitched aging?

In my new dynasty there has been some glitched aging going around. Now, I know that NPCs are naturally glitched, but I'm talking about townies. In my game, Nora Ursine (the child Claire is pregnant with a he start of the game) was a toddler for less than 1 day, and aged up to child a few sim hours later. Has anyone else had this sort of problem?
