Ever been in love with a townie?
« on: September 02, 2012, 05:04:54 AM »
Ever since starting Sims3 I've had this weird crush on a certain Erin Kennedy... It hasn't exactly faded away. I wish she was real? Lol, that's just silly, but I can't really fix the problem, can I? Anyone else share my predicament?

Haha, I must admit my simself looks far better than I do... He doesn't have all the imperfections. But as for original townies, Erin is so right to my mind, lol!

I've made some pretty hot sims in CAS. They can't beat my real-life partner, though. ;)

As for townies, I find most of them to be ugly across all towns. Except for Gunter Goth. I like his long hair, but I still wouldn't say I have a crush on him or anything like that.

I don't think I'd go quite so far as to admit to having a crush on any of the townies, but I once dreamed about Geoffrey Landgraab.  Which made me wonder briefly if I could possibly be playing too much Sims.   ;D

If I were a sim I'd go for Christopher. Of course, I'm considered an elder so it probably wouldn't work out so well ;)

If I were a Sim, I'd probably go for...don't laugh...Nick Alto. Possibly because he reminds me of my real-life husband (wrong hair color, and he's about twenty or so years older...and my husband isn't quite so mean-spirited...but close enough).

"In love".. Bit far? :P I'm not that insane.. I quite like the way Cycl0n3 Sw0rd looks with a makeover. I like the geeky sims in general, because I like geeky men in real life. Satthew and Fljotavik in my dynasties are both absolute stunners when they grow up, Satthew more than Flow but Satthew is deliberately dressed to look geeky where as Flow's just all arty and dresses in bright colours. I also, of course, adore Saeglopur. Not so much any townies though, and I am probably biased anyway because when I create sims I'll obviously create them how I like. :)

Mere attractiveness though, I would be worried if I was to ever "fall in love" with a sim. ;D

Perhaps over-stated, but you'll get to know me like that. I do it without thinking. Like a child over ice-cream? Yup, it's a super awesome bestest ice-cream in the world ever! Well, that's me. Anything less would not be quite Dewald. So Fezl, I see your point *smiley face*

The latest sims game I've played is The Sims 3 Pets for PS3.  I find myself constantly moving in sims next to Marcel Gattus.  In one save I even married him and had some kids with him.  He's not like super hot or anything, I guess it's more of a fascination with him.

I'm gonna say no here. My narcissism has lead me to believe my sims are superior to townies sheerly because they were created by me  ;D

If anyone would care to explain why everyone loves Chris Steel, I'd love to know because I can't understand (Then again, being male...)

I totally understand your fascination with Erin Kennedy. She is a strong and non-nonsense person on the one hand, but in play, she can be ultra sensitive and very feminine. She has very strong genes and makes gorgeous children. If I ever play a Townie Deca Dynasty, I will seriously consider her, despite her age. I think Erin is a lovely Sim. :)

Poor Erin gets no love. I don't have a crush on her, or any real attachment (I played her once just to test something), but everyone seems to think she's ugly when she's really not that bad.
