Haha, thanks for your vote of faith! Yeah, it's kinda practice in that the story is sort of being made for me (via the game), so I've always got a source of ideas, and it's useful for me to look back and think "Hmm, could work on pacing, consistency of tone/spelling, need to follow that up, should have explained some things better," etc etc... But I'm really happy that people are responding so positively to this story, so thank you so much!

Sorry that I haven't updated in so long... My life has been somewhat taken over by the newest member of my family. I've got enough screenies for the next couple of chapters, but I only have naptimes to work in right now He's gorgeous, but plenty of work!

Here he is - I think he looks a lot like Seal did as a puppy

He is the most thoroughly adorable puppy And it's hilarious to watch him trying to play with the cat - he bounces around her, and she looks disdainful and starts washing herself.

I did think of calling him Seal, because it was such a strong resemblance, and I thought it was a funny coincidence, but he hasn't yet presented me with any precious metals or gems. In the end, I decided to call him Arthur, as it just suits him so well. His parents were homeless, and he was weaned on whatever they were eating, but he's extremely healthy (according to the vet), and very happy in his new home. I have the shape of the next two chapters now, so they won't be much longer, I promise!

I kust checked out both your Green Dolphin Island creator diary and your immortal dynasty here, and I must say, the island is really really pretty and I love your immortal dynasty, especially how you're managing to stay in a period of time. <3
That being said, what content gives you Constance's dress and Jack's outfit when he's proposing there?

Hello all!

So, it's been a very long time since I updated, but the story is not dead, just on hiatus - my 'puter had a bit of a fit, but it seems to be sorted out, and the puppy is finally learning to sit quietly for periods of time, so I'm getting back into playing Sims3, after what feels like years - and I promise that I have not forgotten this dynasty, nor am I done with it!

In the meantime, I've had a bit of burnout, so I'm doing a shorter story to get back into the swing of writing - it's an Erin Kennedy and Nancy Landgraab story, so a little out of the ordinary, but I just wanted to play around with the new Seasons pack (just got it last weekend, yay), and this is what turned up Link here: http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,14332.0.html
