So the other day, my twin brother did the LTW "Possession is Nine Tenths of the Law".

The thing is, that even though an object diminishes in value after a klepto has stolen it, the object is worth its full value for that precious split second right after you've stolen it. Enough to fulfill the LTW. What my twin did, was having a klepto sim steal a car, just the Bwan Speedster and not even a Vaguester, and he immediately fulfilled his LTW. You could probably finish this the first hours of your sim's life and walk away with 30,000 LTH!

It just states that you should possess 50,000$ in stolen goods. An instance in time is enough.

For honest sims,there is a similar trick with the Living in the Lap of Luxury:
- Easiest method would be a Party Animal sim, I imagine, so start there.
- Get acquainted with all the rich sims in the neighborhood.
- Buy a bunch of parking spaces. Visitors will park their car on them if they use it to come over for a party/visit.
- Throw a party, inviting all the rich sims you met over. The game does not differentiate between their cars and yours for property value, allowing all those nice expensive cars to push your value high enough to finish the LTW, and barely spending more than enough for a basic house.

Confirmed. It's absolutely crazy how easy it is to get this LTW. Now, given I had zero Klepto experience up to this point, last night I IM'd Carl and asked him if there were any restrictions on stealing and he mentioned that you couldn't swipe stuff until 9 PM. So, at 9 PM I had my guy walk over to Agnes' house and he immediately went up to watch TV. He called her up to Join: Watch TV so she would then be out of sight. He went downstairs and swiped a couple things, then went outside for the motherlode. The Bwan is staring at him in the face at he swipes something else of little value. Doh! I click the ground again to swipe and he stuffs the Bwan in his back pocket. BA-BOOOM. Game over. Thank you for playing Possession is Nine Tenths of the Law. It's going to be tough for me to stretch out this LTW walkthrough, but I suppose I'll just have him hit the Master Thief cap as well and see if he can consign some stuff.

@Leto, the Kleptomaniac trait is what triggers the Nine Tenths LTW.
