Aw, dayumn. ): Ah well, thanks anyway.

Has anyone ever had plants permanently stuck on Mycelium, or have they all eventually gone back to Sprout?

(I'm probably really irritating everyone here with my gazillion questions but I really want to know as I'm trying to build my Sim's skill so they can make ambrosia!)

I've found a bug!

It happens in my DecaDynasty with my toddler, Muzy. Anyone who wants to interact with her has to first click on her to wake her up if she's asleep and if not, instead of just clicking "put Muzy in swing" or "toss in air" or something, I need to first click hold, wait for the parent or whoever it is to hold Muzy, and only then can I click the interaction without it cancelling itself. Now we need to micromanage raising children as well. Looking like this is going to be renamed the Micromanaging Patch. ::) Very annoying and inconvenient.

I don't know if that is a new bug. I had a very similar thing happen a few months back, when playing a dynasty.

The only stage I've had plants get stuck on is harvest, just as Cathy was mentioning. Last night I played around with a new file and gardening was how it had always been. Loading my dynasty up now to test it, with the patch and no supernatural I was only able to get my sim to continually (not clicking on each plant) weed, fertilize and harvest by going with those actions. Anytime I tried tend garden, she'd pop up and reset.

If you have someone else do the harvesting - the plants won't get stuck in harvest mode and they can tend garden just fine.  It's only pre existing sims with a blank collection journal that seems to be causing the main issue.

@ Fez -- that happens to me on occassion too but it will fix itself if you resetSim Muzy.

@Neon Rainbow- Believe it or not we love it when people ask questions.  As for the plants.  All of mine eventually turned into sprouts.  Just wait a few Sim days before panicking.

Thanks for the help, everyone. (: It's good to see a Sims 3 community that's really active but not TOO active (i.e. the official forums where posting's so fast you're often ignored). I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best, I suppose. ^^

I actually only had plants get stuck on harvesting that were planted before I patched. I ended up trashing them and hadn't had the problem with any new ones I planted.

Oh, thank goodness it isn't a new bug then! I shall reset Muzy!

Actually Fez, I've had that for quite some time before this patch came out. Although there was no option to wake them, as they woke themselves while the parent/s would wait for them to be awake, which didn't take long. I found it was only if they were in the crib though.

I haven't done any gardening since reading about the bugs, but I've been getting a similar micro-managing bug with my mailbox. I almost always use a dog to hunt for gems and metals to make money. However, now when my sim goes to the mailbox to send a bunch of them off to be smelted or cut, she'll only do one, and then reset to about 2-3 feet from the mailbox, queue completely empty. I don't have any trouble telling her to get mail or pay bills, just when she goes to send something. I had this in the game I was playing this weekend (which I can't remember if I started before or after I installed the patch). I also created a new game when I downloaded Supernatural, thinking maybe it would go away when starting a new game. Same problem as before.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? I've tried ResetSim a couple of times in both games, and no go. Also, how does one go about resetting a world?

I did have the plants stuck in Mycelium stage but reseting the whole world fixed it, they somehow reseted themselves to sprouts.

My pathing issues are getting really annoying. It's not only that my sims get stuck trying to get in or out of a room, but also, if I make them interact with another sim or pet, they will start complaining that something is in their way and will cancel the first action in the queue, but then, if I have queued several actions with the same sim or pet (like "get to know" and then "ask about career" or whatever) they will move to the next action without trouble! I mean it's better than not having them interact at all but that proves that there isn't anything in their way!  >:(

Also, how does one go about resetting a world?

Isn't that just using the cheat: Resetsim * (to reset all sims in the world) ?
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

Oh! Sorry, I totally missed that question about reseting the world, Alexandria!

Yes, as Odie said, just hit ctrl+shift+c to open the cheats panel and then type "resetSim *" (without quotes).

 :)

I tried ResetSim *, but I'm still getting mailbox issues. :(
At least I have a gem cutter, so I only have to worry about smelting metals. I really, really, really like the gem cutter.

So a new issue popped up with this patch.   The sweetest pea noticed it first and then I noticed it tonight.   Elder Sims no longer have the option to get fertility treatment.  I know it's not huge but it's still a change.

It may just be my game, but teens are also missing the option to get the Eye Candy reward. Could it be intentional?  ???
