I'm liking it too! I hope I won't eat my own words later, but it seems like I was lucky this time (for once!): no issues, beside some pathing problems. I have the feeling that the plants in the garden got delayed in growing, since I planted them like 3 sim-days before patching and my sim just got to harvest them today, 3 sim-days after installing the patch. But they are working and my sim has no trouble tending the garden, either.

I'm liking the new patch, sheerly for the fact that I can edit my genies 

I'm glad I can get purple genies, now. (I don't know what color genies are supposed to be, but my Genies are purple now  )

When you patch up, you'll get an elixir from EA. It has a small symbol in the lower left-hand corner, and you can give things with those symbols to your online friends. Apparently you can also buy surprise packages (presumably with Simpoints) to send to friends, but I haven't tried that yet.

In playing, I've been working with a test file. No problems with gardening, but the plants apparently have a Mycelium stage the day after they're planted. They then return to sprout, growing, etc.  My Sim has been able to harvest everything.

I thought there might be a problem with "Have Private Wedding," but the option came up the next day. Maybe Christopher Steel just wasn't in the mood. I was able to host a magician without any difficulty.

Just a little correction. The surprise packages are free. The packages have random things like Simoleans, magic gnomes, etc. You can only send up to 5 gifts a day though.

I think I will wait to patch until they fix things and the new CAW works. I can handle my vampires and celebrities a bit longer. I need my gardens and I've dealt with vampires this long, I can wait til they fix the gardens and routing and commands problems.

I'm not sure what I think about Supernatural in general.  I prefer human Sims looking and acting human.

Would it better to move my Dynasty saves to a folder on my desktop, then after I know the patch is in and everything is ok, put it back in AFTER I make a copy of it?

That's what I've done. Keep in mind that if you do a factory reset, you'll have to download any store content (including worlds).

Thanks MarianT I don't plan on having to do a factory reset. I HOPE, but I do have a back up of my downloads file and already on my external.

I wonder why they released it so early then? I thought it normally came out on the US release date?

This was actually answered on twitter last night by GuruGraham.  Monday is a holiday in the states and Tuesday is release so they did it on Friday to get it out there prior to all the midnight grabs.

Did anyone else have the patch reset the age on any supernaturals in your house, and freeze it?

I had to reset my genies so that they would actually age again.

I was trying to respond to you via MyPage but it won't let me.  Liam has been seen by me a couple of times so that could be part of the login problem. 

Edit: I'm getting the same error and I was able to be logged in last night so this has something to do with the site and not the fact that you just patched.

Ok thanks Rica, I had to get ready to leave, so I'll wait till I'm back later. I didn't go into Colts game, but I did another and turned my female into a teal green with purple hair. Lol she looks cool.

I had my Blue Sim and Artie both change their colors to be on the multi-hued slider - they had triplets and one was purple, one was yellow and the third was green.  Totally getting shots for you guys later.

Well both of my files have now succumb to the dredged gardening issue.  So going to have to start again

Going to test gardening first thought to make sure that it's just an issue with previous saves and not an overall issue.
