Sequence 2, Part 2She was woken by the irritating sound of her phone.
Elaine: Hello, who's this?
Man: Can't you take a guess?
Elaine: What do you want father?
Elaine's Dad, dramatic: Your life there is stabbing my heart, causing pain everywhere, why won't you reconsider going back?
Elaine: There's not a chance I will go back. Wait, were you spying on me?
Elaine's Father: If that's what you want. I talked with a friend of mine, if you agree, you can start working as a city council member, and a better house.
Elaine: No! I do not want living under your influence again.
Father: You won't be.
Elaine: How do I get to be a Council member?
Father: Are you questioning your skills again? You were the most talented of your siblings.
Elaine: You say the nicest things. I'll take the offer, but only temporarily. If I don't want the luxury, I go back here.
Father: Fine. I'll be sending a chef there, I don't you punishing yourself. And I've teleported your uniform to your house.
Elaine: Fine, I'll probably let him go as soon as he comes.
Father: I'm sure you wouldn't. Bye.
Elaine: Bye.
Elaine searched for the uniform, finding it in her drawer, she changed to it. She noticed Munich's concerned look. She took the time to brush him.
Elaine: Don't worry Munich, I'm fine.
She walk out of the house early, finding a stray cat in the front door.
She let it sniff her hands.
And briefly played with it, adopting it after thinking she needs more companions.
Though the cat, now named Tokyo, seems to dislike it's new "friend"
Elaine never noticed it, since she was halfway to the carpool.
While at work, a cloud of dust formed in her lot.
What could it be? Is it rats chewing on the wooden floor? Aliens creating a rift in space time continuum? No, it was the legendary rivalry between the hound and the feline.
After work, Elaine took a look at her new house. When she arrived, her father called again.
Father: Like it?
Elaine: Yes.
Father: The chef will be there shortly.
Elaine: You know I'll just kick him out.
Father: You won't, I'm sure.
After settling in, it just happens that she was looking at the painting in the living room when the chef came.
She then knew why she can't possibly kick him out.
Elaine: Tony! Your'e the chef my father's been talking about?
Tony: Why, surprised?
Elaine: It's just that we haven't seen each other for, gosh how long was it... 7 years!
Tony: Well it's just good to see you again.
Elaine: Where will you stay?
Tony: Out at the shack your father just teleported here.
Tony: You must be tired, I'll cook dinner while you wait and we can reminisce the past later.
