Chapter 28: Completing Lives

It was a night just like any other. Finn was painting on her balcony, Mum had come back from a ride and was trying to fall asleep, Bree was finishing her homework, Chantel was out moonlighting, I was watching TV after a hard day at work while Dad was already asleep. He woke up feeling extremely light headed.

Little did he know that was his last day. At the age of 96, Dad passed away.

Mum, Finn, Bree and I all witnessed Grim taking away one of the people most dear to us all.

The next morning Mum, Chantel and I went to the cemetery and mourned the loss of Braden (Cordova) Saforia.

Chantel took Mum back home while I ventured out to seek Charles and tell him the news. I couldn’t keep myself from crying.

And then he goes and passes away himself.

Chantel comes to pick me up and we put Charles’ grave next to Aunt Amelia’s.

That afternoon, Finn took Bree to celebrate Dad’s and Charles’ completed lives.

And that night, Diamond completed his life. At the age of 56, Grim came and took Diamond, just before one of Mum’s races.

Mum was breaking down as Grim rode away on Diamond’s back.

Diamond was the first animal to have a grave at the graveyard. He fills the small pet area.

The next day was Love Day so Mum and Bree spent the day grieving. Mum trained Bree in the morning.

And Bree went fishing at the same pond she went with Dad later on.

Chantel and I go to the festival to take our minds off of everything.

Finn invites her boyfriend Kyle over and ends up asking him to move in.

She coaxes him into a new look.

Kyle also picked up the guitar to start learning it. His Lifetime Wish is to be the Master of the Arts.

Chantel completed her lifetime wish and buys the new bar near the lake, The Strand Drinks. She goes to moonlight and is amazed by the lot.

Finn christens it with some of her iconic street art. Yes, she is in her nightie.

Kyle and I then celebrate our Adult birthdays the following day.

And to complete a terrible couple of days, my cake catches fire.

Kyle ages up as we battle the flames. He keeps his new hairstyle.

After finding a new cake, I finally age up into an adult. I change my hairstyle back into my Young Adult one.

I just hope our luck changes, and the rest of the week won’t be as horrible.

Chapter 29: Chantal’s Chapter

I am Chantal. Once upon a time I lived as an NPC, working as both a permanent Mixologist and a paparazzi. My NPC family have now disappeared, never to be seen again but that’s ok because now I am a Saforia. I live with my husband, daughter, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, her boyfriend and a horse.

On the day of my Adult birthday, Damien took me out to Port-A-Party to celebrate. I got to have and NPC make drinks for me instead of making drinks for them.

We played pool and blew bubbles. Mmmm bubbles.

Then I aged up into an adult. Seems like getting a new horrible hairstyle is just part of the package of growing older. I almost immediately grabbed that stupid flower out of my hair and did it back the way it should be.

Meanwhile, back at home, Kyle proposed to Finn. Finn was surprised. Finn was also excited. Finn also accepted. Finn also gave Kyle a kiss.

Over at the stables, Skye is preparing for a race with Giddy.

Then she starts to feel light-headed. Actually she just felt light in general.

Grim appeared and would have taken her away, if Giddy hadn’t been there. Giddy was able to bring Skye back from the dead.

We were all very grateful. Who knew a horse had such power over Grim?

After a near death experience, most people start really living life. Skye woke up the next morning and was over at the festival in an instant. She tried all the festival activities.

She returned home in the afternoon, just in time to help Brianna with her homework on a very busy night.

That night was Prom. Bree had no date, the teenage population of Lunar Lakes is very small, but she was still extremely excited.

She came home grinning from ear to ear with a golden crown placed perfectly on her head. She was so excited to be Prom Queen.

Soon it was time for Bree’s birthday. She was so excited to start her adult life, she woke us all up extra early (except Skye, she was awake doing only God knows what) cheer as she blew out the candles on her cake.

Bree is Excitable, Loves the Heat, Angler, Friendly and Charismatic wants to create a five-star resort.

So what does she rush off straight away to do? Buy the lot down by the beach to start her resort. Or just sunbake, her choice.

Chapter 30: Bree’s Guide to Getting a Boyfriend

Hello everybody! I’m Bree, but I’m sure you already know everything you need to about me. Like that I spent the morning of my birthday sunbathing on an empty lot. Well that was because it took a few hours before my dream resort could be built!

Wow! It’s not near complete yet but it already looks and is amazing.

The first thing to do at my wonderful resort, named Sweet Bree’s since I’m sweet and it sounds like ‘Sweet Breeze’, is spend some time in the pool. And how do you get in the pool? Down the slide!

Later that day was my graduation. I won some award, nothing that really represented who I was, but I still enjoyed tossing up my diploma.

And soon after that we all went down to Memories of Sunset Valley to celebrate the marriage of Finn and Kyle.

The cake had to be the best part. Yum!

Actually maybe it was talking to Chris Landgraab. Such a nice fella.

They spent the night celebrating their new marriage.

But there was one reason to not be celebrating, and that was Grandma. She was returning home from a ride when she felt faint.

We all rushed outside, in tears, as she jumped into her oversized grave.

The next morning, we planned to head straight to the graveyard at about 8 but Finn was feeling really sick. Probably Mum’s cooking.

Grandma died when she was 99, which is very old for most Sims. I’ll really miss her.

The adults spent the rest of the day at the movies, watching at least five in one sitting.

Meanwhile, I was down at the local pool with Chris. And this is when I learnt how to get a boyfriend.
Step 1-Befriend the chosen man.
Step 2-Invite chosen man out.
Step 3-Compliment chosen man multiple times.

Step 4-Kiss chosen man until he accepts you.
Step 5-Ask him to go on a date.
Ahh, young love.

Oh, and Finn found out she is pregnant but my guide to getting a boyfriend is much more important.

Thanks SimBlip! Skye was actually around for about an extra week but when she did die, as much as I was sad, I was happy that it meant I didn't have to care about the horses as much! I'm still not sure why but this file has turned me away from horses. Bree is a lot of fun to play. All she seems to actually do at the resort is sunbake!

Sorry about the lack of updates except this file has been crashing alot so I am planning another town move but I want Generation 5 to be a bit older before the move. Only the graves and the main household will be moving.

Thanks kent! I made sure that the resort would fit in and I must say that it the final version looks amazing!

I am so sorry for the lack of updates but I actually have a reason. Kinda. I've had enough photos for a chapter for a while now but I like being at least a chapter ahead. Over a week ago I was playing and progressed a few days and then my game crashes while saving...Very frustrating as I had completed the resort and had gotten everyone ready to move. I've had a few opportunities since to play but the game loves crashing in the loading screen. Today I finally got in game and the family are almost ready to move again.

Also, in about two months is exams so now I'm also preparing for that so that means less game time and less time to write. Sorry everyone! I promise I'll get a chapter out soon, maybe even today.

Chapter 31: Happiness

Now that I had acquired a boyfriend, I was quite happy. With the date over, I went to the lake where I first fished with Grandpa and caught a few of the local delicacies before returning home.

Kyle and Finn were down at the library preparing for their baby. I was so excited when I found out Finn was pregnant! I would finally have a cousin, even if there wouldn’t even be a quarter of my age.

The next day I swung over to the resort to check everything was running smooth and saw Aunt Elsa there. We had a nice chat but after a while I just broke down and was crying on her shoulder. Grandma’s second death was still hurting me. She assured me that Grandma had gone to a place where she would be happy.

I invited Chris down to the resort where I invited him to move in with us. He accepted and meant our household was almost full!

That day was also Leisure Day and the whole family come down to the resort. Aunt Finn and Uncle Kyle spent their time stuffing their faces eating at the buffet while Chris practised his Charisma in the gym.

Mum and Dad chased each other in the pool to escape the heat.

I took Chris away from the mirror to look at something a bit more beautiful than himself, me of course!

But soon Leisure Day became a bad day. At the age of 60, Giddy passed away at home. We set up a grave next to Diamond’s at the graveyard and also left one of the Zendaya gnomes with them.

It was late when we all started to leave and before even getting into the car, Finn realised that the baby was ready to come out. Dad and Kyle drove to the hospital with her to have the baby there. It wasn’t long before little baby Flynn was born.

The next day I got myself a job at the Lunar Lakes Film Studio as currently, the resort wasn’t bringing in enough money for me to be able to upgrade to my heart’s desire.

After Chris finished work, he joined me at the Film Studio Restaurant, Nibbles Café, and we had a very pleasant and delicious meal.

We then went to one of the Memories Parks and spent some time with each other there before we ended up at the resort.

Once there, I pulled Chris to a corner beside the pool and proposed to him. He accepted!

We decided to have the wedding the next day at the resort and only the immediate family came along.
 
It wasn’t long before we had a second Chris Saforia in the family. (The first is Aunt Natasha’s husband)

After a night of relaxing and partying, we returned home to celebrate Flynn’s birthday.

Flynn is a definite genius as well as a slob. You should’ve seen the mess he made with his cake!

But even geniuses can struggle to learn to talk. Kyle eventually taught Flynn but boy was it funny to watch.

After five deaths and what seemed like an eternal cloud of sadness, the Saforia family now was clouded by a big happy monster who was making everyone happy and rejoiceful. Gotta love happiness.

Thanks butterfly and SimBlip for the nice comments! This chapter would've already been posted if my internet didn't decide to go really really slow all of a sudden and not allow me to upload the photos. It's great now though!

Chapter 32: Latest Protest to Latest Project

Finn soon was dragged to the cake in order to celebrate her Adult birthday.

She was absolutely thrilled.

To also celebrate her birthday, she organised for a protest at the park and convinced Chris, Kyle and I to come along. Except she told us the wrong time so we were there an hour early but we still enjoyed ourselves on the swings! It’s weird that they aren’t connected though.

Her first protest as an adult was a success! There were many people there to protest against low wages or something like that. Even Shea attended.

But what I found out was much more exciting! I was pregnant. Even Shea was excited!

I told Chris and he was ecstatic! I was going to be a mother!

In order to prepare for motherhood, I spent more time taking care of Flynn and helped him to learn to walk.

I also continued to expand and build my resort adding four VIP rooms that overlook the lake. Each one is themed on a different season.

Mum still finds time in her busy (actually she doesn’t really do much) schedule to go out to the local clubs and bars to moonlight. This time she brought Chris along thinking he would be some nice company but he wouldn’t leave the hot tub!

The next day, Chris and I went to the resort so I could have a massage and we could then spend some time together. We worked out in the gym for an hour or so.

And as we started to eat at the buffet, the contractions began. This was my reaction.

This was Chris’ reaction.

This was a random employee’s reaction.

Chris eventually realised I was asking him to drive to the hospital in between my moans and soon I was holding a little girl in my hands and walking out of the hospital.

Back home we set up a swing next to Flynn’s and I snuggled Aisha before letting her rest in her swing.

It felt like only a minute before we were celebrating both Aisha’s and Flynn’s birthday. We had two cakes set up for the occasion and everyone was very excited.

Flynn was the first to age up and become eco-friendly. He shares the same favourite colour as Aunt Natasha and Great-Grandpa Damon, Orange.

Aisha had her piece of cake second and her traits are Insane and Loves the Heat. She likes the colour Black, just like Grandma Skye and Great-Uncle Charles.

When I dressed my little girl in her clothes I realised something. That Lunar Lakes wasn’t the place I wanted my daughter to live in. I didn’t want the only parks and greenery for her to experience to by artificial, I wanted her to live somewhere real, somewhere back on SimEarth.
“Dad, I need to talk to you, alone.”
“Bree move! I think I’m winning!”

Wow! That was fast speed forward! Aisha hit this world like a thunderbolt!
She's adorable, as is Flynn.
I also liked the season-themed VIP rooms. I'm sure the Saforia Resort will count five stars soon.
