Sim not singing

When I ask my sim to sing or do a sing-a-gram She will walk to the side like she is going to then the action disappears.  She does not have to use the bathroom or anything.   I changed into her singing clothes and tried to get a gig and she jus stands on stage not performing any action and then I reset sim and she reappears home!! I need help want to advance in my singing career
