I like both of those ideas, particularly the Simlympics! (When did we get Wall-Climbing, though? Store Content?)

Yeah, the Vertical Challenge Rock Wall.

Group Two - They're Here!

Friday in the game, Friday in Dimension H - I love it when things work out like that.  Care packages have been received, and the new group is just arriving.  Let's go out to the front entrance and welcome them.

Just to refresh everyone's memory, the new arrivals are, from left to right:  Blythe, Jude, Arlo (wearing Chris Steel's purloined clothes), Danielle and Karin.  Ssttarr joined the picture to show you her new outfit; wonder of wonders, she's actually wearing her everyday clothes.

As soon as they set foot on the lot, every single one of the new admissions announced their desire to acquire a planter bowl.  Why, one wonders.  It's a mystery to me.  I've never had a whole group of Sims come up with that particular wish right off the bat.  However, it was an easy wish to fulfill, so they all got a head start on their happiness points.  The three teenagers will have to start school on Monday, but they have the weekend to settle in, which was the plan.

First order of business, as usual, is to pack them all off to Charisma class and then send them over to Central Park to try out their Charming Introductions.  Which mostly went well, except poor Karin wound up introducting herself to Nasty Nick Alto, who delights in being unpleasant.  I barely managed to cancel out some nasty interaction he started as I didn't think Karin deserved that.

Then it was home for supper.  Simgund seems to have had a paid evening off (because of new teenagers in the house?  I don't play that age group enough to know if that would cause him to have a day off.) so he prepared dinner while everyone else relaxed in the hot tub.

Ah, that Arlo - such a personal sense of style!  Nothing like relaxing in the hot tub wearing your best suit and tie.

And by the time they've sorted out their inevitable pathing issues, eaten, and cleaned up the dishes, everyone's ready for bed.  Oh, and the three teenagers - Danielle, Jude and Blythe - have all decided it would make them very happy indeed to learn to drive.  Driving lessons?  Are our staff members brave enough to tackle driving instructions with three insane teenagers?  Tomorrow is another day.  Stay tuned.

Simple Answer. Don't. Have everyone use brooms.

Or a LLAMA - I'm sure Sigmund can manage to install them in every-which-place.

I love that idea!  I can just see them all zipping around town on brooms.  But would it satisfy their 2000-point wish to learn to drive?  One of the goals at the Treatment Centre is to help them earn happiness points, and those hoping for a SWAP treatment will have to come up with 20,000 points.  So I think we might have to try teaching the young'uns to drive.  Of course, once they've learned to drive, we can assign them all brooms so they won't monopolize the Treatment Centre's vehicles.  Yeah, I like that idea.

I like the LLAMA idea too, but that may be more of a long-term solution as I haven't really learned how the LLAMA works yet.  Maybe for next group.

LAMA. I could imagine it now, picture it, a group of insane sims with an obsession with Llamas and LLAMAS.

What does GO stand for?  Sorry if I missed it, I had a flip through and couldn't find it.

Seabody, you have an excellent memory.

Odinsdottir, I always have trouble thinking of names, so most often I just take the path of least resistance and name Sims or other things after my dogs.  Grace and Oliver are the two rescued Schips that joined the household a couple months ago, and they're the most wonderful dogs ever.  Grace is sitting on my lap with her chin resting on my wrist as I'm typing.  I think she approves of having a treatment centre named after her.  :D

Of course she approves. A popular story, by a popular writer - she must feel like James!
