That was hilarious. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to send you a letter or journal entry but I've been busier than usual this week.

Of course, none of our Insane heroes (maybe Charissa and/or Coleen, but I can't tell) are actually in their sleepwear! 

It's really funny that Inky never bothered to get out of bed.

Charissa is in her bathing suit. I'm not sure she's ever worn her nightwear to bed. Charissa thinks she might like to swap "dislikes children" for family friendly -- someone has to continue the Hilliard insanity.

Trisha isn't too fussed about getting SWAPped immediately. She's eyeing off Fertility Treatment, which Camille and Mathew will be very unhappy about, or the Hover Bed, since she isn't allowed her princess one. I've been dog-proofing the house and preparing for my performance and exam (with a healthy does of simming thrown in... *guilty look*), so I'll try to fire off a letter later on.

Party for the Forum

After the excitement of having the house burgled, everyone went back to bed and slept late.  Which was just as well, as it meant they were all well rested for the party.  Emily was definitely the star of the show.  Being a Party Animal, she easily persuaded all the guests to turn up, and some of them brought family members.  Emily's spaghetti was a great hit, despite all the usual Simmy pathing issues.



Ethan brought along his sister Lisa who enjoyed dancing with Coleen.



The dress code was supposed to be casual, but Trisha figured she might have more luck finding her next spouse dressed in her swimsuit.  And I think we can all agree, it looks pretty good on her.



Callum had a great time!  Trisha wasn't the only one who wanted to impress the guests by dressing in a swimsuit.  And who can blame him, with abs like that!



Frank, Callum, Chris and Agnes enjoyed a game of pool.  I couldn't get all 4 in the same shot, unfortunately.



But Frank's screenshot wasn't neglected.  He had his moment of glory when the dishwasher broke.  Frank to the rescue!



Now Frank wants to do an upgrade.  I dunno, Frank - after Sstarr's mishap, are you sure this is a good idea?  Well, maybe you can work on one of the showers.  Probably not too much risk of being electrocuted by a shower.

I was looking for Charissa to take a picture of her and couldn't figure out where she was until the message popped up that she had just reached level 2 of the Athletic skill.  Sure enough, there she was on the treadmill.



I wondered why she had gone to work out when I distinctly remembered telling her to join the dancing.  Then I realized - Cornelia had brought Mortimer along.  Eek!  Child in the room!  So of course poor Charissa was forced to take refuge in the gym.  What else is a Dislikes Children Sim to do?

Incubus had such a good time at the party, he just had to chase his tail.  (This screenshot was taken through the glass table, which is why it looks a bit odd)



Sim guests never seem to know when to leave parties.  It was almost 2 am when the last guest finally went home.  But the party was a huge success!  The food was great, everyone had fun, relationships were built, Frank increased his Handiness skill, and Charissa had a good workout.  All that remains is to hear from our resident manager.  Sstarr, what did you think of the party?

Yes, Casual.  But you'd never guess it from looking at the residents.  They definitely march to the beat of a different drummer.  I think it's kind of neat that they don't follow dress codes but decide for themselves what they feel like wearing!  This group of Sims is the most fun I've had in a long time!

Chris quickly realized that Coleen wasn't a Dynasty girl and stayed away from her.

Progress?  You ain't seen nothin' yet.  Frank has now decided it would make him very happy if he could do 5 upgrades!  Fortunately the Treatment Centre has lots of bathrooms so he can safely upgrade toilets, sinks and showers - no need to turn him loose on that dangerous stove.  It might not look too good for a resident to die in treatment.

No paparazzi in my game since uninstalling Late Night, so that's not a worry.  I'll probably reinstall LN now that we can control the populations of celebrities and vampires, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.  I was more worried about what Eugene might say if he found out our treatment program had killed his brother.  It could be the first lawsuit in Sim history!

It would be a very big lawsuit! Including a suit! Might be easier to keep Frank away from the stove
