I would like to make mention that Emily suffers from a rare form of ADD called ADOS. This formally stands for "Attention Deficit OH SQUIRREL!"

Seabody, this had me laughing so hard my husband wanted to know what was so funny. When I explained it to him, he laughed too, and he's not usually interested in anything to do with Sims.

Schipperke, I love how you work other threads in the forum into your story. It makes me feel a little more in tune with the forum, even though I don't have time to keep up with most of the threads.

Okay, I just read through this whole thing and I've been laughing my rear off. This is just hilarious! I can't wait to read about the party!

To All Case Managers/Referral Agents:

As you know, one of our key objectives at the GO Treatment Centre is to keep our residents as comfortable and happy as possible in order to facilitate their change process.  We are happy to report that, thanks to the therapeutic environment, the residents' happiness has been very high (complaining letters home to the contrary).  In a few days, most of the residents will have earned enough happiness points to purchase a reward, if they wish to do so.

So we are asking you to consult with your Sim in treatment, and think about what s/he might like to do with the happiness points.  Do they want to purchase a 5000-point reward?  Save up their points for something bigger?  Try to earn enough points to get SWAPped?  Save their happiness points to use when they return home?  The decision is yours, so please think about it.  If we do not hear from a Case Manager, the Treatment Centre management will use their judgement as to the best use for the points.

SWAP treatments are 20k points, correct? I think Frank will try to aim for that, to treat his hydrophobia.

Yes, 20,000 points to SWAP their traits.  It'll probably be a few weeks before any of the residents is ready for that big a change, but if that's what you want to do, please start considering what traits should be removed and which new ones Frank might want.

I'll let you know when Frank is getting close to 20,000.

I think I'd like to wait for Coleen to SWAP her hot headed trait for something else. I'm glad that they are all happy!

Thanks, Sadie.  I'll let you know when Coleen is getting close to having enough points for her SWAP makeover.

Callum can hold on before he uses his points. I think getting a SWAP would be nice.

Thanks, Gogo.  You and Callum can start thinking about what traits he might to exchange when he has his SWAP and I'll let you know when he's getting close to having enough points.

Emily can hold on until 20,000 points, then she can get the "Born to Cook" LTR from Showtime.

Oh, won't that be nice!  I'm sure all the residents will be delighted when Emily gets that reward - better meals, and Sstarr won't have to risk her life in another attempt to upgrade the stove!

Burglar!

I wasn't planning to do another update until after the party.  But these characters have to be the most interesting Sims I've ever played, by far!  I've had Insane Sims before, but never a whole houseful, and they keep throwing so much material at me, I don't know how I'll ever be able to use it all.

So the Treatment Centre had its first burglar last night.  We've all had burglars in our games, and it's pretty routine, right?  Friends, nothing is routine with this group!  Take a look.  The burglar sneaks onto the lot -

Instead of walking in the front door like any sensible burglar, he goes and stands in front of the burglar alarm.

Emily is the first resident to come down, appearing just as patrolman Eugene Hunter is telling Robbie Bland he's going to throw the book at him this time.  Emily would have been there sooner but it took a bit of time to fasten the clasp on her diamond necklace.

The other residents all start arriving.  Most are complaining about the noisy alarm.  Emily gazes admiringly at Eugene, while Eugene is clearly anticipating the reward he'll get for bringing in repeat offender Robbie Bland.

Look at the expression on Robbie's face as Sstarr points at him and laughs:

Robbie puts up no fight at all as Eugene cuffs him.  I suspect Robbie is relieved to be getting out of this madhouse sorry, not politically correct - Treatment Centre.  Frank, wearing gloves for reasons best known to him and Audren, thinks he needs a drink after all the excitement.

Charissa is thinking about the letter she'll write to Dean Clemens about this incident!

For some reason I can't fathom, Coleen and Callum feel compelled to check their armpits.

I'm not sure if Trisha is mocking Robbie or trying to imagine how he'd look in a picture.  Robbie looks quite miserable at this point.

Now we've seen the reactions of all the members of the household except one.  What of Incubus?  Where's our brave watchdog?

He never bothered getting off the bed.  Well, after all, the little guy has a day job, you know!  It's not easy being a pet therapist!

Of course Emily would come dressed in formalwear, instead of her "sleepwear"... ;)
