Dear Mr Myron,

Thank you for your explanation.  No harm was done.  The Treatment Centre is planning to have its own celebration soon, and after attending your party, perhaps Frank will have some suggestions for our celebration.

Now that Frank knows we are not against him and are willing to be understanding, we hope he will feel better about being here.  We have been having some difficulty getting him to look after his hygiene, as he breaks into tears every time he has to take a shower.

Of course, it doesn't help that his roommate Callum likes a dirty environment and never complains if Frank skips his shower.  Perhaps you could have a word with Frank about his hygiene?

Thanks again for your cooperation.

sincerely,

The Management.

Dear Management,

I would like to ask if I could possibly borrow Coleen for a few hours tomorrow for a small party at my house. I understand that she [I hope] is working hard, and would like for her to partake in the party I am planning for the Forum's third. Please allow her to attended, I promise to keep a close eye on her and return her shorty after.

Sincerely,
Katie Bacon

Dear Ms. Bacon,

Thank you for your letter.  We appreciate you clearing this outing through proper channels ahead of time.

Coleen has indeed been working hard, and we see no problems with allowing her to attend your special celebration, as long as she returns in time for the celebration we are planning to have at the Treatment Centre.  Your party will be a good opportunity for her to practice her new Charisma skills and we trust you to provide proper supervision.

sincerely,
The Management

To Management,
From The Fishis Family

Dear Management,

I am dearly asking if Callum may be excused from the Treatment Centre for a day as we have a very special party to celebrate. It happens to be a third birthday for a very special organisation and we are attending a party. Callum is expected to attend since he was the one invited. They stupidly sent us the letter instead of you but they will be forgiven when Callum arrives. If he does attend, we will organize for someone to watch over him. He's known to run away.

Kind regards,

The Fishis Family.

P.S. When Callum goes fishing, you might want someone to watch him. As I just said, he's known to run away.

Management,

Thank you very much for excusing Coleen, I am very happy that she is improving. The party will be small, and if she gets out of hand, I brought a lot of ice-cream to quiet her down. I hope I can show off her newly found charisma skill[does she still think it's a person? I couldn't explain to her that it wasn't a person.]

Sincerely,
Katie Bacon
P.S. I'll admit I am very excited to see her! I'm usually with her all the time.

Dear Management,

I'm afraid I forgot to mention his hydrophobia. How he got this, I'm not sure, but he hates anything to do with water. That would include taking a shower or bath. (At home, we use ample amounts of Showers-in-a-Can) The issue is not that Frank has a hygiene issue, it's that he has a water issue. Perhaps there is some form of aquatic treatment that may help him? Or perhaps a SWAP Meeting to treat his hydrophobia? I apologize for not mentioning this sooner. I'll bring this up in my next letter to him.

From, Eugene Myron

Dear Management
As I have received a letter from Emily recently, I am sure you are aware of me.

I would like to make mention that Emily suffers from a rare form of ADD called ADOS. This formally stands for "Attention Deficit OH SQUIRREL!" and as such, Emily should be kept away from Minor Pets, lest one of them be a squirrel. I recommend that she spends time in Animal Therapy with Incubus, though this is just a recommendation.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by my delayed announcement of this, but the memory only occurred to me when she mentioned "Bertie" in her letter.

Yours Faithfully,
Carlos Pindaughter IV V

Dear Mr Pindaughter,

Thank you for your letter. Emily has indeed been overheard talking to herself about squirrels, and we weren't sure if she was implying she or someone else was squirrelly or if it was something to do with secret squirrels.  Now that we understand about her ADOS, we will definitely keep her away from Minor Pets.  Pet Therapist Incubus will be happy to give her special attention.

Thank you very much for sharing this information with us.  If you should happen to think of any more of Emily's case history that might be useful for us to know, please do not hesitate to write again.

Sincerely,
The Management

Will You Be My Friend?

Tuesday morning Sstarr calls the residents to a meeting in the group room.

Everyone is agog over Sstarr's brush with death.

Charissa:   Did you have a near-death experience?
Sstarr:  ... I don't think I'm ready to talk about that just now.
Coleen:  How lucky that you happened to have that death flower in your inventory!
Trisha:  Yes, where did the death flower come from, anyway?
Incubus:  Ask Mr Payne!  He knows about the death flower!

Everyone hears the dog speak.  And not one of them is willing to admit their hallucinations are so peculiar as to include talking dogs.  The room is silent for a moment.

Then Sstarr says:  As you know, Carl and Pam's Sims 3 Forum is celebrating its third anniversary.  Some of you have attended parties for the forum, and we are going to have our own party.
Emily:  Yay!  I love parties!  I'll cook my vegetarian fish and chips for everyone!  And you have to let me invite the guests - guests always come when I invite them.  [Party Animal]
Sstarr:  That's what we're going to work on today - befriending townspeople so we can invite them to our party.  I want each of you to go out and meet someone new and see if you can become friends with them.  Some Sims are easier to befriend than others, so don't worry if you can't make it all the way to Friends on first acquaintance.  Just do your best.

The residents scatter through the town, looking for Sims to befriend.

Frank meets a kindred spirit.  Insane and Childish like Frank, Dorie just might be his soul mate.  Unfortunately she's married and doesn't stick around long enough to become friends with Frank.

Charissa and Marty seem to be getting along well.  Peace, Marty!  But he leaves because he has to go to work and they don't quite make it to Friends.

Callum meets a rich woman at the Art Gallery.  He likes the idea of getting together with a rich woman who could afford to hire a maid to clean up after him.  But Cornelia isn't about to leave her rich husband for an unemployed guy carrying a torch for a dead fish, and she walks off.

Trisha spent many hours socializing with Agnes Crumplebottom at the Consignment Shop, but somehow I seem to have missed getting a screenshot of them.  And it's a shame, because she looks so spiffy in her striped stockings.  Agnes was a hard case, and despite Trisha's valiant efforts she was not able to make friends with Agnes.

Coleen and Simis hit it off quite well, becoming friends.  He even managed a weak smile and a thank-you when she presented him with a gift-wrapped banana as a present.

Emily also managed to befriend Ethan, who was very impressed that a beautiful older woman wanted to give him a gift.  "An apple!  How delightful!  Just what I've always wanted!"

And Sstarr?  What has Sstarr been doing?  Take a look:

Yes, Sstarr has been chatting up Mr Desirable, himself.  You may be thinking it was a little selfish of Sstarr to keep Christopher to herself instead of letting one of the residents talk to him, but it wasn't like that.  I tried to send one of the female residents to Chris's house but he wasn't there, and by the time I finally tracked him down at the gym, the residents were already busy with other people.  Honest.  Perhaps it's just as well, for poor Chris was not in the best mood today.

Chris:  I just had to get out of my house!  It's being renovated, and you wouldn't believe the mess, the noise, the disruption!  It's not as if I asked to have my house in a Building Contest!  Honestly, sometimes it's really very trying being the most eligible bachelor in Sunset Valley!

I couldn't hear what Sstarr said in response, but judging from her expression in that screen shot I think she might have been telling him that she died yesterday and that her problems were more important than his petty whining.  Nevertheless, Sstarr managed to befriend Chris, so the Treatment Centre now has 3 friends and 4 acquaintances that we hope will attend tomorrow's party.

Trisha's striped stockings were insisted upon by my little sister who is no longer with us when I first created her. She came with the black and gold clothing when I rolled her, which were colors of status in an RPG I used to play, so I went with it. It's been a little more than a year since she passed, and I get the giggles every time I see those stockings. It's an awesome way to remember her. We shared some very good times over Sims.

I can see the doggie chew toy in the group therapy room, but not the dog. Where has our friend Incubus been hiding all this time? ;)

I think Incubus experienced a sudden need to go outside to attend to certain doggie business, just as I snapped the screenshot.  I really wasn't trying to imply that he was invisible.  A talking dog may be a stretch of the imagination for some, but an invisible talking dog?  Not totally believable.  ;)

Coleen asked for me to tell you: A banana is the best grift EVER!! Wait, Sstarr talked to the Chris dude? WHAT! He's a fishy! An Ugly, smelly Fishy!
You may want to keep her away from Mr.Christopher, to avoid another round of insults.

Heh heh!  I think this is going to be a very interesting party.  Seven insane hosts, a talking dog, and as many hapless guests as we can con into coming.  We'll see what happens!

Dear Dean Clemens,

Sstarr got me gloves! Wow, she is the best ever!  And I met someone else who went to the School of Peace and Love. His wife is going to have a baby, though, so I don't think I'll be visiting. We're going to have a party, and I'd like to invite you and everyone else at HSU, but I guess Hidden Springs is too far away, huh?

Peace, Charissa

I had forgotten about Dorie!  ;D Too bad Frank didn't quite get to Friends with her, but there's always the party!
