Gypsie Caravan
« on: August 24, 2012, 09:35:38 AM »
Sorry! I just realised I've lost the pics due to sorting out my Facebook Page where I store them. As soon as I can I'll reupload some pictures of this lot!

EA recently featured an absolutely gorgeous caravan called Apothecary Todd - No CC by KLorelei. Seeing this beautifully and lovingly created build gave me the incentive to try making my own style of caravan. Whilst I do not take credit for the original idea of building a caravan (any more than I can take credit for the original idea of building a house!), I have put my own slant on it. My caravan is completely livable (although I haven't had a chance to test it yet, so please let me know if there are any routing problems and I'll fix it!).

2 Sims, 1 cat and 1 horse can live here. So without further adu, I present to you...

The Gypsie Caravan

Lot size: 30x30
Cost Furnished: §40,291
Cost Unfurnished: §18,291

The caravan takes the following packs:

Late Night

Town Life

Palm in Vase - 25 Simpoints
B. Harvard's Water Collection Set - 25 Simpoints

Total Simpoints: 650 (plus the ones mentioned below)

Also uses items found in the Once Upon a Time Cottage set, but for some reason weren't listed.

Rugs were also used from Kingdom of Cambodia Bedroom and Bathroom Collection set, but again weren't listed.

As always, your feedback and criticism on this is appreciated :)

This is awsome!!!! Must.Have.Now.

I don't have any stuff packs though, but I guess I will just replace the missing items with more Pets or World Adventures stuff  :).

Thanks for sharing!

Oh my, it's just adorable!  I love it!  Seeing this house makes me wish I hadn't uninstalled Late Night.

I was inspired by KLorelei's build too!  :D (I plan on building a tiny little shop to match the caravan rabbithole when Supernatural comes out.) Your caravan is simply gorgeous. The roof is so clever, and I can't believe you made such a tiny space livable. It makes me want to go and buy all the required store content.  :)

Well, soon you won't have reason to have it uninstalled anymore.  :)

Oh, I hope so!  But only if I can set celebrities to zero.  :)

And if that happens, I'll definitely be coming back to this house.

Well, you know both the caravan and the characters HAVE to be in the BB rebuild!  This is awesome and I think you read my mind.  Now I don't have to build one myself!  lol  It's cute, it's clever, it's efficient and I love it!
What?  Grannies can't play games?

Can I ask which roof you used? My guess is it comes with some Stuff Pack I don't have because I can't find it?  :)

Edited to clarify: I mean the lower part of the roof ;)

I'd need confirmation from Neashaleigh for this one, but I'm pretty sure it's made from a row of dome-shaped roofs placed close together.

Absolutely awesome! I'm crazy over small efficient living spaces ( both in and out of sims) and this is so perfectly perfect! You're just super in my books.
