Waterpark
« on: August 19, 2012, 11:54:39 AM »
I have the sudden want to build a water-park, mainly for aesthetics than actual use. I know there was a method in the sims 2 that if you made a pool then used CFE to raise the terrain to make a "slide."
I just want to know if anyone else has tried this before, and if so what advice they would give.

I know Decima did something like that for her entry to the Summertime Sunshine Building Contest. She won that contest, too! Here's a screenshot:

A water park is a great idea, especially with seasons coming up. Would be great to have the slide end in the sea.

Thank You, Ausette. I'll be sending a PM to Decima, And maybe I'll figure out how to show you some pictures of it!

Looking at the screenshot, I'm guessing it's using the "Constrainfloorelevation off"cheat, and then messing around with level terrain. Would allow for sloping, though I've no idea if you can level terrain when it comes to the base of a swimming pool.

Thank you for the help everyone! Castaras you were right and I submitted my Water-park to the swapshop, called "Splish, Splash, Water!" I would love some feedback!
