It is with a broken heart and sad mind that I have to report that my file is no longer being nice. For the past couple of days it has been giving me problems again and then would not open. Well tonight I finally got it to open and Charity is no longer in the family. Her pic is gone and everything. To go back to another save, would put me to far behind.

I am going to have to put these version of Colt and his boys to rest!  Colt has asked that you not be said, because he is going to hit the ground running again. We are going to sit down and discuss the way of the story. Most of it will be the same, but some changes will come. Thanks to those that have been along for the ride and I hope that when we return for next season, you will return with us.

Ugh, seven generations in! I'm sorry; that really sucks! I think Trip has been experiencing a similar bug, but I think it was fixed only by reverting to a former save? It  sounds like you're planning to start again with Colt, so I'll say good luck with your next adventure!

Ever since that last bug hit it, I thought we had fixed it, but with my pics gone, the sculptures disappeared in the move by the value was there now that is gone. Charity has flew the coop. I think it's best to lay it to rest. Plus I've had a lot of personal problems in RL that have caused me to set it aside for long periods of time.

About the UI bug, it's also fixable by moving the family to the clipboard and back (usually not approved as a first measure for HoF dynasties, but you're non-HoF, so whatever). I don't know how far gone the rest of it is, but maybe it's worth a shot if you're not willing to let Colt and family go just yet.

I'll see on the morning Trip. The main problem is loading. For some reason it doesn't want to open and stuff is disappearing. On gonna play around and see if I can pull her back to life .. Lol

To have the file fail on you after so much effort and so many wonderful characters is just heartbreaking. It seems like forever ago that Colt married Agnes and the Bachelor clan moved in. You have taken us on such a fun journey...and it is sad to see it end in such a way.

On a technical note, that is very odd how Charity just suddenly disappeared like that. I can't say that's an error I've ever seen before.

I'm so sorry to hear about your problems. I have loved following Colt and his descendants and would be sorry to see them fail so close to the finish line. I hope you get your inspiration back, and find some way to resolve these technical issues. Maybe a sabbatical is in order? Sometimes taking a break is the best way to get new energy and perspective...

I'm very sorry to hear about your game problems, sdhoey.  How frustrating and disappointing.

Don't count me out yet guys!!! LOL I might be able to handle this.. I loaded this earlier and Charity was there o.O .. I've also started removing ALOT of items on the property that really do not need to be there. It has nothing to do with the equipment, but the file it self. So I will take the screenshots I have so far, update tonight, keep going until it says NO MORE!!! LOL ....

That's great news!

Removing unnecessary objects are a pain but can give great results for loading times. In the last few weeks of my ID I scrapped large parts of the garden, and the entire nectar cellar, which improved performance somewhat.

*fingers crossed* I've also found that deleting extra vegetables/fruits came in handy after building up hundreds of apples and such.

I hope that deleting stuff solves your problems it is very, very annoying to run into such bugs so late in a dynasty.
