After Bella aged up in the garden, Amber and Colt were busy with the kids finishing up their reading before the time came for their cakes.

Caden found a book about Tony Brooks? That's interesting! The fact he now wants to write himself is as well. But nothing tops Michael's demise soon after their conversation... even if a jelly bean caused it.
