How many Sims 3 expansion packs can I install on my computer?

(I hope this is the right forum!)

I've tried to find answers elsewhere, but maybe my question is really too specific for someone else to have asked it.

I need to figure out how many Expansion Packs I can put on my computer and still have the game running okay. I don't need any settings too high, if that helps.

Here are the specifications of my computer.

iMac (Intel) (I bought it in April 2007, and it was the last generation before the metallic iMacs)
Intel Core 2 Duo (2 GHz)
2.5 GB RAM
ATI X1600 with 128MB VRAM

I won't have any troubles with storage space, as I will be getting a new external hard drive to shuffle things to in order to leave room for the Sims 3 (as well as other things that must be on the boot drive).

I don't need anything to be blazing fast, but if it doesn't function at all, that won't work so well.

I was just so happy this thing ran the game at all, lol. But I want those expansions.

Having some problems with my graphics at the moment, I'd say that you definitely need to make sure your graphic card is up to it... Are your graphics run by an integrated chip, rather than a graphics card?

Otherwise, there's always trial and error - load up an expansion pack at a time, and see how it runs...

Based on the information at http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements#Desktop_Graphics_Card_Compatibility_and_Recommendations , I wouldn't expect you to be able to handle very much with that particular card.
