What is Sims 3 PS3 Platinum??

Hi,

Due to major corruption, I need a new sims game for the Ps3. I want a change and a better town, so am deciding to go for Sims 3 Ps3 instead of + pets. The technician even says that the PS3 is okay, but I need a new game disk. PC isn't really an option, so I need to get a Playstation 3 Game.

Also, the pets addition is meant to make the game more glitchy, and I have experienced such frustrating glitches, so I will do anything.

I was about to order TS3 PS3 from Amazon when I noticed the Platinum Sims 3 Playstation 3 under the 'Newer' Category. Now, is this game a budget version like sime platinum games or has it got extra stuff??

The Short Version:
The Platinum version is cheaper and usually contains the same content on the disc as the standard edition unless it states otherwise.

The more detailed version:
When a PS3 game sells a certain amount of copies it is then considered as a PS3 Essential Title and a Platinum version is released (also known as PS3 Essential title). The only real difference is the case and maybe the disc, ps2 platinum games use to have a nice silver disc.
