So, I went to SaltyPaws's topic and was solo happy to see all of my purchase history, I even found more stuff than I thought I had!

So I JUST clicked Dragon Valley to download it, and the launcher opened as if it were going to download but then nothing happened, only an exclamation sing (!) next to Downloads tap... and it froze.  :'(
Hi, Tandrael.

MrsFlynn asked me to take a look at this. I'll see if I can help out.

Let's try something. I know you've done this already, but I want to be clear on what's happening with your setup, so hopefully you will bear with me and not get to frustrated that I'm asking you to repeat steps. :)
  • Perform a Factory Reset.
  • Redownload Dragon Valley from The Sims 3 Store -> Purchased History.
  • Install DV with the Sims 3 Launcher.
  • Once installed, go to the Installed Content and see if DV shows up there.
  • If so, try running the game and see if DV shows up in the list of worlds for a New Game.
  • If not, there may be something wrong with your launcher and you may need to re-install The Sims 3.
Also, did you buy any of the other store worlds (or download Riverview) and do they show up in New Game? In other words, is it just Dragon Valley that is messed up?

Thanks for being patient. Hopefully this will result in a working game for you. :)

Thank you so much for helping me MrFlynn.

I did a FACTORY RESET
I went to the Sims 3 Store/ Purcahse History to re-download Dragon Valley (only): nothing happened.
I also tried to download Riverview: nothing happened, so it's not just Dragon Valley that is messed up.
I downloaded a new item (a shirt), it started to download just fine, but when I loaded the game it wasn't there, in fact there is nothing with the little bag symbol that means it comes from the shop.

I also went to SaltyPaws's topic, as MrsFlynn recommended, and went to the "Downloads Dashboard" and tried to download ONLY Dragon Valley from there and nothing happened, so I went back to the Downloads Dashboard and next to Dragon Valley I had a red note saying "Download Error". So lately I've been researching on this "Download Error"...

Important: I'm on MAC, OS X, 10.9.2 and the last thing I read was that this is an ongoing problem for us Mac users, I've found lots of really upset Sim players on Mac who have this same problem and don't know how to fix it...

I'll go do the last thing I always do: un-install everything and infall everything back. I don't know if it will help, since the problem is with the store items, but I'll see and I'll tell you how it went.

Hi, Tandrael. Thanks for being patient and trying it again for us. I will see what I can find on the web on the Mac store issue. I don't have a Mac so I may be of limited assistance, but I will do my best. :)

Since you're planning a re-install, let's do this:
  • Backup your current The Sims 3 folder.
  • Uninstall The Sims 3 and all exapnasions.
  • Re-install The Sims 3 Base Game.
  • Patch to the latest version (should be 1.67).
  • Try downloading Dragon Valley using Firefox for Mac (https://mozilla.org/firefox/).
Let us know if it downloads and installs. While you're doing that, MrsFlynn and I will see if we can find out anything about the download issue Mac users are experiencing.

Thank you for your help! I've been also PM-ing with MrsFlynn, you're both so nice!

I got my firefox for Mac.
I've unisntalled everything.
Mrs.Flynn gave me the good idea of cleaning my Mac at this point.
Then I will re-install ONLY the base game-patch it : do I have to launch it for patching it? (how do I patch it?... I guess it's getting late here and I'm not thinking clearly!) And then try to download Dragon Valley and don't worry about any other EP at this point?

I guess I better do this tomorrow, I'll tell you how it went, even if it take me a while. Thank you againg for all your help.

I think, if memory serves correctly, you can launch the game via it's launcher and it should tell you if a patch is available. :)

Yay! Got it! Had to uninstall everything and install it back, after installing the base game I patched the game (I was so sure I had the latest patch, but it seems I needed a new one: both for the game and for the Store) and then downloaded Dragon Valley and now I have it again! Took me all day yesterday, but all went well.

First I downloaded ONLY Dragon Valley; then the other towns; then I downloaded everything from "my Purchase history" and all went well.

Thank you all who helped! And of course special thanks to Flynn Arrowstarr and MrsFlynn!

THANK YOU so much for this little tutorial Mr and MrsFlynn.
After Origin last 'small' update I wasn't able to play with all my Store content, I was so mad. Unless I was online the store content was simply not there. Until I follow these instructions and got my content back!
Never opening Origin while online anymore, cause I thought I had "automatic update" unmarked but still got and (auto)update which ruined my game and store content. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this tutorial!!
