Does anyone know what time it will be out? I was thinking about not taking my meds to be able to play it. Normally it's in my email when I wake up so I don't know what time it will be there.

I assume you mean on Origin, and I'm not quite sure. Do they do midnight releases?

I'm in Sweden, and the official release date here is apparently the 16th, but I think if I'm lucky I may get it as soon as the 14th - the site I preordered from lists the release date as the 15th, and Supernatural was delivered to me a day early. I'm trying not to be too optimistic though, that's just setting myself up for disappointment.

I don't mind that there's no new world - the fact that weather is fully compatible with every world makes me want to play in ALL of them, so it's a great way to motivate me to return to places like Riverview and Hidden Springs that I previously felt I was "done" with :P

When Supernatural was released people that pre ordered the digital download got to play the second of release, in fact Seasons is in my Origin account, it just says ''not yet released''. I'm sure players that have the digital download of Seasons will be able to play at midnight. Those with the Disc copy will have to wait for the mail to deliver it.

Does that include players in Europe- Will we be able to play tomorrow or will we have to wait until Friday?

Origin allows downloads as soon as it's the day of release in your region, but not before. I'm expecting the email as soon as it's past midnight.

I honestly cannot even wait. I have a shell built and ready to go, twinbrook all nice and rearranged with lots from other expansions, some of my own sims moved into empty houses. That way as soon as Seasons is installed, I can make a family, move them in, furnish and decorate their home and yard to rotate with the seasonal changes, and play!

Yeah I meant on Origin. Mine is on Origin too, just can't download it yet. I think tonight will be a skip my bedtime medicine night haha. I'm really looking forward to this, I hate snow in real life, but I'm interested in seeing my sims deal with it hehe. I don't know in which order I will play the seasons, I know it's normally spring, summer, fall and winter but maybe I'll do winter first. Oh the possibilities!!  ;D

On my origin page (Sweden) it says the 16th, so Friday I think.

The release date in The Netherlands is the 15th. I ordered mine there and it will probably be in the mail there on the 15th already. Only I live in Norway, so I have to wait a little longer for my Dutch game to arrive here.

I was looking at the requirements for the game and I am not sure if my computer can play it.  The main worry is the video card.  I have a  Direct X Radeon HD 5450. I have a HP computer. Windows 7, I think.    AMD Phenom tm 11x945 Processor 3. GHz 8 GB 64 bit.

The specs stated it has to be ATI Radeon series 9500 or better.  I don't know the difference between types, Direct X Radeon and ATI Radeon.   But 5450 is definitely lower than 9500, so I am guessing that means my computer can't run it?

I figure someone here can tell me if my computer can run Seasons.  Please tell me I am wrong, that I can run Seasons.

It sounds really nice and I would like to get it later on.

If you can play The Sims 3 you can play Seasons, it has the same requirements.

And I believe if you have more EP's, the main thing is that you need more GB RAM then. The 8 GB you have, should be more than enough.

I have 4 GB of RAM and all EP's, except Seasons installed and the game runs great, it does lag sometimes, but I have my settings the highest they can go.

I have the Sims 3, Riverview, Pets, WA and now SN.  LOVE that town.

Okay, then I can pick this expansion up later on.   ;D

Right now, my car needs tires  :(  so that is less money for fun stuff.

Thanks for the help, it has made my day that I can get it later on.
