oh yuck! thanks Leto! I hate bugs! :P

You're more than welcome Pallyn, I was looking forward to read yours and Katie's reaction anyway. ;)

Man, have you seen that producer Walkthrough that is floating around on YouTube by now? I am really interested in the blueprint thing you can now do with houses, to build them more... easier, if that is what they said. I love it.

The blueprint mode seems awesome! I would love to be able to save a great lay out and transfer it to another lot. Finally there could be a simple way to move a great house from a too move a house on a small lot to a larges lot or a house on a large lot to a smaller one. Or just think of the possibility of just moving the entire building four squares further back from the road. Oh, if this will work as I think it will, it will be revolutionary!

LOL Barney.   Yes I really do hope they let us make our own but even if not, I think it will still make some setting up house 5 times easier.

As for grasshopper pie, it's actually quite good.  Here is the recipe that I used last time I made it.

So glad to see there's no actual grasshoppers involved!

New News from SimGuru Graham about the placement of festival lots.   There are going to be 12 that can be placed to cover all current worlds.  Future worlds will not have pre-made ones so you can just place one of the 12 that come with Seasons.

To read more - you can find Graham's post here.

I'm looking forward to giving my sims weather-appropriate wardrobes. I'm not talking about outerwear, but their everyday outfits -- shorts in summer, sweaters in fall and winter. And it'll be interesting to see all the townies in their winter coats -- except for the insane and inappropriate ones!

A snow cone machine is included, a big one for outside and a small countertop one.
Quote from simsvip.com Seasons Fact Sheet: Your Sims can also make snow cones at the festival and purchase a machine for the home. The standard snow cone stand is great for outdoor parties, and the smaller one can be placed on kitchen counters for a refreshing mid-day treat.

New recipes include (also from simsvip.com Fact Sheet):
Pumpkin Pie – Level 5 cooking or higher
French Fries
Cinnamon Donuts
Pulled Pork
Egg Nog
Fruit Punch
Grasshopper Pie
Freezer Bunny Pops
Snow Cones
Hot Chocolate

Mmm..... I love pulled pork. You can bet my next twenty or so sims will, as well.
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

One of the sim gurus just answered some more questions about Seasons. Yes, it's on the official forums, but it feels right to post it.

This one really tickled my fancy:

33. Will there be new facial slider options?
There are three new facial sliders in Seasons to give aliens a unique look. You'll find one new ear slider, and two sliders for their eyes.

Aw yeah.

Oh, phew! When Leto said about them jumping into your mouth with no need to chew, I was flabbergasted. But, I had an inkling that what you said wasn't true.  ;) It just didn't seem right.

Darn, you're getting to know me. That's not good. That's not good at all.

Let them coming! As long as aliens can find a way to manipulate plasma so occult sims can finally be crossbreeded, makes me a happy guy. And a happy Leto means for EA booming business.
But I'll be waiting, impatiently, holding breath and biting nails.

Good luck with that Leto!  ;D I do fear some things, but some are kind of personal. Now I'm trying to think of what I fear the most...
