Aliens don't really fit the fantasy theme of Supernatural, though they don't really fit Seasons either. But either way, I'm glad they're coming back.

I'm still really excited for this EP. If I can find a New England-themed world (or if EA makes one), having an actual autumn there will complete my simming experience.

You're right about not starting a new thread, Nebuchadnezzar, as we don't want to get into speculating.  Until the next EP is officially announced, this is not something for discussion here.  I'm sure we're all eager to know what the next EP will be after Seasons, but we'll have to wait for the official announcement.  Meantime, this thread is for Seasons, so let's keep the discussion on topic.

Seasons looks to be another ep that's not worth the ridiculously high price tag. If a college ep like 2 had comes out, I would buy that...but i'll wait till the price is slashed on seasons before bothering with it.

This comment just really surprised me.  Players have been screaming for seasons in the game ever since it was released.  Now it's finally coming and you've already decided it's not worth the money without even seeing any member reviews of it.  Why bother to even post this?

Some people have different opinions on things, that's why the human race is so unique. I can't wait for Seasons. I'm not going to get Showtime because I personally don't think that it's worth it, while others would say it is the best EP on Earth. But, in Australia, new EPs come at $50, and on the rare occasion $40. I find that ridiculous because at the moment one AUS dollar is worth 1.019 US. So, that's why I don't get many EPs and it's also the reason why my standard is a nudge higher. People tend to spend their money in ways that they know they will either enjoy it, or know it's a necessity. If you look at the comments on the YouTube video of the Seasons (or any EP for that matter) trailer you will get people who can't wait for it and people who don't like it.
And sharing your opinion that will stir some people makes good conversation.

I simply can't wait for Seasons. In sims2 it was fantastic, so I believe in sims3 it will be beyond awesome! There will be so many new things is game play. Stories and dynasties will get more challenging, no more sleeping outside. I don't care about the price, I'm sure it will be worth it.

Sorry but I find this a bit rude. Everyone is allowed to voice their opinion, if to so with respect for other opinions, which I think is the case here. I know I'm kinda at the bottom of the food chain at this forum, but I do feel I should point out that in my point of view what you said here is not okay.
A tip for Jestina would be to voice her opinion starting with I think, but other than that I see nothing wrong with writing what she did.

Back on the topic: I believe seasons is worth my money and I'm one of those people begging for until  others were really annoyed with me I do buy every EP, because I just need to have it, kinda collecting. This one however was the one I was waiting for and the whole festival idea makes it even better!
