I am so excited that we are getting aliens again? But there were some blue people in my town now. Is that a Union Cove thing or a Katey Perry thing? Either way I am glad to get the aliens again. Maybe Sims can get abducted again like in Sims 2.

Union Cove has blue & green Sims at the beginning.   The only picture I've seen of an alien showed them as a really light color and it wasn't very clear.  Has anyone else been able to see a screenshot of them?

There will not be a new town (sorry to dissapoint). But, weather and seasons will automatically be placed in every world, and there will be new lots to place such as the park with kissing booths and dance floors, or festival kind of lot. You can improve any town with these, especially Sunset Valley

Actually, from what I understand from the live Q&A, the kissing booths and dance floor will probably spawn on the lot that you choose to have the season festivals.  So I don't think we're actually going to be getting any new lots other than the ice lounge and half pipe.

So will the ailen spawn when a sim uses  a telescope or is it just a NPC you have to find to move into your household?

I don't know about you but I haven't seen anything other than Limited Editions available so I was just going with everyone will be getting it for now.

Going by the main site for Seasons the Ice Lounge is exclusive to the Limited Edition.

Right but has anyone found a version that's not Limited Edition?   I did a search and only the Limited Edition seems to be available for sale right now which means if you pre-order you are most likely getting the Limited Edition.  Am I wrong?  Can someone tell me where to find the non Limited Edition version of this EP?

As far as I know, ALL preorders of Sims 3 expansions are Limited Edition, at least as far back as Pets.

Anyone else thinks those aliens look a bit like simbots? Makes me wonder if they actually can have babies at all. Kinda disappointing if that is true because male pregnancies and alien babies were one of my favorite things in Sims 2.
