Argh! This look so awesome, and it makes me pine hard for real snow. Sadly we rarely get any where I live. :( Looks like Seasons may be a good way to indulge my winter cravings at least in a virtual setting, if I can't get a real one.

And the one thing that's more amusing than the Grim snowman is how excited the reaper himself looks with it.

SimsVIP has an article up that shows 76 new Seasons screenshots from the new Sims Deluxe Magazine.  It's through the Czech Facebook page so there are some that show things that are not exactly readable.

The alien abductions/impregnation disgust me too. It's torture and a crime against humanity, played for laughs. Who on Earth puts that sort of thing in a game like this?

Thanks Rica! It look absolutely wonderful! I can't wait for the release. ;D
@ladyaya,The only new career is for Aliens to become test subjects.

Yeah, but as far as I know, the test subject career is only one level.

They did in The Sims 2 lol. ;D

The game lets us burn our sims to death or drown them, and that's just base game. this kind of thing is not new to sims. :)

How else are my male sims to get pregnant without a mod?

Those winter screenshots look beautiful, I just watched a couple of videos as well, I so hope teens get to do slow dancing I was disappointed they couldn't do club dancing as I saw no reason why not, the animations would have worked the same for them.

The igloo looks interesting for homeless sims and dynasty starters, that is going to be a real challenge with snow. Can't wait to see how well you can survive in winter with no house and plants will be dormant so no free food. I know you can just make it another season but I like the idea of a really tough start, challenges make this game more fun.

I finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered, first time for an expansion but this is the first one that I have really wanted badly.

Has anyone heard whether or not it will snow in worlds where that might not be appropriate...Like Sunlit Tides, Lucky Palms, Starlight Shores, Lunar Lakes, etc.? I want to start a new game when Seasons is released, but I want to make sure I pick a world where it will snow. My only problem is that most of the worlds I enjoy the most are clearly warm weather areas.

I believe you can set up the weather effects per save file. So yes, it will snow in sunlit tides unless you tell the game not to.

Thank you for the link, the screenshots were amazing. I nearly drooled over the 232 pictures that the link to Facebook has, but I wonder why the ocean is yellow in picture 88?

Weather effects will work like aging and population controls do now.   You make one choice and it will count for every save file within that Sims 3 folder unless you manually change it.  So if you want some weather in Sunlit Tides but want all in Sunset Valley - you'll have to change it every time you go into either of those games.

Wow, everything looks amazing. I normally don't like snow, but it's gorgeous enough I might play one winter lol.

One thing really bothers me. My game was fine and dandy until I installed Pets, which made my chipset graphic card go out. I have since than replaced it and my animals are adorable, but I'm really worried how my new GC will handle the new weather? I really can't afford to keep buying GC's!
