We asked. We begged. We PLEADED. And we received. :D

Though this seems to be the closest I've ever seen expansions coming out together. Maybe because of the Diesel and Katy Perry packs coming out together?

I just can't believe it's two months behind Supernatural.  I will barely be getting used to that one before this pops out.  And even if you don't get both EPs that doesn't mean that the patches that come with won't be just as dramatic as the expansions themselves.    I had planned on doing another dynasty or something after the fact but now I'm wondering if I should wait for that major patch so that I can insure the life of my game files.  Also, my game files are huge without weather.  What is weather going to do to them?

Oh wow; two months after Supernatural releases, this comes! I'll have to save up a lot of money (especially because I like to pre-order), but I can't believe this is finally coming out for Sims 3! I'm so excited! :D ...Although I'm going to be a little worried about how my computer might handle all this. But still, Seasons is finally coming out! 8D

I'm one of those people who didn't have the Seasons EP in Sims 2, so I'm super dooper excited for this EP! I hope my parents can allow me to Pre-Order it, that Ice Lounge sounds really cool! And finally, we can swim in lakes and oceans.  ;D
I just hope they bring a new town with it, or will they put in an updated SV in it? Call me lazy, but I can't be bothered to having to place everything before I start playing, even though I do the Save as... thing. But sometimes I can be forgetful and accidentally click Save instead of Save as when starting to play my household. Ooops, I'm trailing off.  :-[
Either way, at least it works with all towns (like it should). Weather not coming to the World Adventures towns wouldn't affect me, as I don't have WA myself.
How do you feel about the weather not coming to France, Egypt and China?

According to SimGuruGraham's twitter they're not bringing in a new town because they put that time towards making existing/store worlds compatible with seasons. Unfortunately, he doesn't specify if they did any work to actually update towns for other expansions.

Personally, the weather not being available in World Adventure towns doesn't bother me at all. I'm not in those towns nearly as much as the one my game is based in.

At first I wasn't excited about this but now, I think I'm going to like this. It looks like it has quite a few fun points away from the seasons. It's a shame about no new towns but at least the other towns will be ready for seasons. Better go preorder it now!

That bothers me. This EP is coming along so early anyway, surely they could have pushed it back a few months to make a world?

I'm glad the store worlds will be compatible with weather, though! I can't wait to see Hidden Springs covered in snow.  :)

My Birthday comes RIGHT at the end of the year (as in on the very last day). My family are always generous with their gifts to me, my parents say it is to make up for me being a few days after Christmas. So, I probably will be getting both Seasons and Supernatural for Christmas (or earlier, if I earn enough money by then).

Is it just wishful thinking on my part or does SV look somewhat modified on the screenies?

If there hasn't been a modification to SV or a new world then there is going to be real need for a very large world in the near future to accommodate all of the necessities from all the EPs.

Kindest regards

They modify a SV for themselves to showcase as much of the content as they can. I'm pretty sure they did it in Generations and Town Life. I doubt we actually get that version because we'd have to do it ourselves.

In addition to what Samoht said, I think it's in the same boat as uninstalling a world - all saves would be rendered incompatible since the game can't load the data from the world files. They'd have to make a Sunset Valley 2.0, and Naga's kind of already done that. ;)

I wasn't as hyped as most for this expansion (Seasons are seasons, to me), but I'm really looking forward to it! I usually have to buy my own games... I can feel the aching of my wallet now. :D

Ohmygosh!

I am SO chuffed that we're finally getting weather! The most exciting thing for me is swimming in the sea and in ponds - I've been pond-ering (hah) ways to make swimming pools look 'natural' and blend in with scenery, so this is awesome news!

Really, really looking forward to this... my gf agreed to help me upgrade my graphics card and my OS (she's v clever when it comes to things like that), so I might just do that before installing this and Supernatural though... looks like it's going to put a bit of strain on the system as it stands. I also have to buy all my own sims stuff, but this will definitely be worth it... although it is only a month before Christmas... Hmmm, we shall see.

Edited to add - oh, and there are RAINBOWS! This makes me so happy :) That whole trailer looks utterly awesome, this has the potential to be my favourite expansion yet!

Oh, and I really don't mind about the vacation worlds not having seasons, I think Egypt would look very odd in snow  :P
