Like many others, I've been waiting for this expansion for so long.
It's bringing back several things I've wanted since base game- weather, colds, and aliens.
I wonder how the abductions will work?

November can't get here fast enough!

Send them to the local fire station or other community building with inside beds or become very friendly with someone and then ask to stay the night at their house, perhaps?

Oh my Gosh! So happy I always delete all the memories as otherwise I get the error thing when I try and save

Thank goodness for this news! I wouldn't mind memories so much if they were only about important things, like having a new baby or getting married.
Of course, with this new option enabled, we can still create custom memories for the scrapbook anyway.

I think I'm about to do a dumb, but...memories are the primary reason my Dynasty file is nearly 2 GB?

(If so, I just may go upload all the important memories and wipe them clean.)

The thing I despise about memories isn't just the silly repeats - "Oh look! I went to the store for the THIRD TIME THIS GAME." - it's the ones that give a generic picture instead of an actual screen shot.

Holy bananas, the bit about memories is true?!? Heck yeah! *fist pump*

I saw someone mention this on the mod poll thread, thought "what, no, where'd you get that from?!?" and nearly replied saying just that, as well as something about how memories were one of the reasons that I've thought about using mods in the first place, but held off because it was somewhat off-topic and figured if that were really true, I'd see it in this thread. I kept the "post reply" window on the other thread open, fully expecting to respond. Wheeee, I love being pleasantly surprised!

I'll be honest, I'm not as excited about Seasons as I am about Supernatural and I don't plan to break my 6-month-EP-purchase-rule for it (unlike Supernatural). HOWEVER, this in itself is very welcome and exciting news.

Again, I'm pretty sure it'll be a feature added with the patch just like SN will be adding the occult control. I've seen people going around saying they were never really interested in SN but getting it only for the occult control so I rather hope they realise they've got that in their game the minute the patches are here before going out and spending all that money.

Man, y'all need to ease up on all of the acronyms for the expansion and stuff packs.  It's really not that much trouble to type out the name.  It's better for the Forum and it's certainly better for those who don't use those acronyms and don't know what they mean.  I just now had to think for a moment about what "SN" is.  I guess it's Seasons?  Things are just harder to understand when acronyms are used.  Nobody's in trouble for it.  It's just something I keep running into and thought I'd finally say something.

SN is Supernatural I think. I don't think there is one for Seasons because it can't really be made into anything but Seas and then you might as well just go onto to add the ons.
