This story was very heart-warming at times and shocking at others, the way you wrote the events is just brilliant, I'm quite sad it's over because it just happens to be my favourite story on the forum, I'm most certainly looking at your next story and I'm already hooked  ;D, the deaths of Holly and Ethan showed how much love they had for their family, and history just loves repeating itself in the worst possible way  :'(. Thank you for making this.

Thank you so very much. The family love thing was by no means contrived, either. I don't know whether it's because they were both Good sims, but every autonomous interaction with their children/nieces/nephews/grandkids was positive, and they were always autonomously flirty with one another. Zoey actually had a better relationship with Ethan than she did her own father, oddly enough.

This was a greatawesomefantastic story! Holly and Ethan's genetics work very well together. *plots*

They do--for the most part. I've played Ethan and Holly together on a few different occasions and did have one child that wasn't quite as lovely. She wasn't truly ugly, to be sure, but she had Ethan's long jaw and her grandma Vita's cheekbones, which didn't jive terribly well.

Oh, Raia! I never knew you intended to end the story when Holly and/or Ethan passed away, but it seems so fitting now.
I can't begin to thank you for the pleasant hours spent reading your wonderful story. I know how attached you've become to all your characters and writing an end to this story can't have been easy. You did it so well, though.
Congratulations for finishing a most wonderful story and thank you once more for writing. :)

You're back! <hugs>

Thank you so much for your kind words. You have truly been an encouragement over these last months. I sincerely mean that. :) Yes, it was difficult to end this story when I've come to love the characters so much. Part of me wanted to continue (and part of it probably will...eventually) but it just seemed like the logical place to end. I don't think I could ever manage a dynasty though, seeing so many characters that you come to know and love pass away to the ages.

Phew. 63 Chapters at last.
Yay, for me! Because I could finished reading your story :D

I already stunned when I saw the your story about Holly Alto since I read the first chapter. Well, because I am a fans of Altos!
And each chapter that you're written is amazing. So beautiful. So realistic. I almost could felt what they are felt. You really make them alive.
You knew about tissue things, well I need one when I read that chapters, that was so embarrassing when people around me saw me crying for no reason (to them) :P
I'm smiled when:
* I saw those family-tree. You know, I loved when I saw that everyone were connected.
* I loved to saw Goth family were there :)
* I saw 'Koffi' at Epilogue. (So, I guess that Gobby has a happy life in your story) See! You made them connected to everyone!

I wished that I could comments for each chapters, but I couldn't.
There so many things that I want to told you, but so little time.
But, it was awesome for overall, I love every bit on it.

You're writing like a professional, Raia. Thumb up for you.
I'm still learning about writing, I hope that someday that I can write like you and other writers here :)
Now, I just can't wait to see Second Chances update, as there are Gobby there :3

Best wishes for your next story, Raia

I'm so very glad that you enjoyed it! I absolutely loved playing these characters. Yep--Gobias had a very happy life. He married Tori Kimura and had two children, Joshua and Laurel. Joshua went on to marry one of the daughters of Miraj Alvi and Kaylynn Langerak (Leann I think was her name) and Shea was the result, so Shea is Gobias's grandson--and a very handsome sim at that. :)

Andrew's hair is "Happily Ever After - Heroic Hair" from the Sims 3 Store found here: http://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?&productId=OFB-SIM3:52270&categoryId=&scategoryId=11960&ppcategoryId=&gender=female&startAt=0 It just seemed to fit his personality. :)

I really, really loved the whole thing! I read it through a while back before I had an account here (I read it in the middle of one of my Social Studies classes, and it was my favorite class taught by the most frightening teacher at my school, so you know that this was good).

I absolutely adore the Alto family because they remind me of the relationship I have with some of my extended family members, so I can relate. Naturally, any story that has them even making a cameo will result in me snapping it right up.

Tsk, tsk...not paying attention in class... :P

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. The Alto family is a favorite of mine too, Holly in particular (obviously :P).

On the advice of Audren, I decided to check out this story...Only one page in and I'm intrigued! I have *no* clue what might be going on but I hope Holly is ok. I guess I'll just have to keep reading to find out her fate. Lucky for me that this is a completed story! That means there won't be any cliffhangers to keep me up at night... ;)

Edit - Ok, so there weren't cliffhangers keeping me up at night but I still didn't get any sleep! Why? Simply because I was hooked on this story and couldn't put it down. There are so many great moments in this story but my favorites would have to be the way you showcased such an enduring love and dedication with your couples...It's nice to see multiple generations of true love and affection.

Thanks for an amazing read!!
