Store Content Help

Move if needed. It might be more of a technical question.

Anyways, I'm currently on a backup laptop, running the base game and pretty much making sims for my projects and the Swap Shop. I backed up all my store content onto an external drive, and decided to move it back into my game. However, I only used the .package files of them that were found in the DCBackup folder, since the Launcher makes me want to pull my hair out. I put the packages into the Mods folder, and they work like a charm in my game.

I'm currently making a sim that's wearing a top I got from The Store, but it's installed as a .package file and has the little blue folder icon next to it in CAS, instead of the shopping bag that my normally-installed store content does. If I uploaded him to the Swap Shop, would his clothes not transfer even if the downloader in question had the store items normally installed via the Launcher? I wouldn't want to cause any havoc, and I'll dress him in plain, base-game stuff if it won't work.

If you have your store packages in the Mods folder, they won't show for someone who has them in their library. If you put them in the Library folder and dress your sim, they should work fine.
