Still looking for an answer here... anyone???
Does anyone know of an issue where a sim with an enormous inventory of paintings, produce, relics, gems, rocks.. the list goes on... is unable to sell anything except produce and paintings?? I have tried with several different sims, households, even towns and the items are just not in the consign list! One sim had a good $100K worth of gems, rocks and relics and they could not be chosen to sell when at the register! I know the shop has issues, but I haven't seen this particular problem yet, so hoping someone can help!
Thanks, Jenna
Welcome to the forums! Gems and rocks can't be sold at the consignment store. I'm not sure about relics but if it's not on the list they must not be able to be sold there either. You can sell them from your inventory though.
First of all, thank you for the response.
Second, the guide for the consignment shop, found here:
http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/ambitions/consignment.php says "Most any self employment profession can sell their wares at the store, and will receive significantly more money than selling items through the inventory interface. Here's a rundown of the types of skills that benefit:
* Fishing
* Inventing
* Nectar Making
* Painting
* Photography
* Relic Hunting: World Adventures owners can travel, gather a collection of relics and consign them when they get home. Excavate for relics, visit the relic vendors, and explore tombs to make plenty of money to fund your expeditions.
* Sculpting
* Writing "
(list condensed)
I have also seen another guide say you should be able to sell relics you find.
Anyone else have any ideas?
THANKS!!
