Ultimate Tomb Raiding

This is my first post, and I'd like to make it count. So here's the most diabolical stunt I've pulled in terms of cheating in the game (easily beats murder)! Taking tomb raiding to the extreme: you must have testingcheatsenabled true activated. Then go to a pyramid in Egypt, or any other tomb in any other country. You only have to be on the lot, no need to even enter the tomb. Then shift-click on the ground and select Buy/Build on this lot. Then sell anything and everything you find for your profit!

Welcome to the forum, donatello.  For a while I was playing kleptomaniac Sims and getting them to feather their nest with stolen items, but it sounds like your system is even more lucrative!

Certainly lots more fun than familyfunds. But you do have the disadvantage of losing the chance for following generations to enjoy the adventures. I started new characters later and only used it to determine routes and plans to finish obstacles in the tombs. It works because obviously it makes everything visible in build or buy mode. And clicking on objects show links to what unlocks them.
