I'm back! And so are my sims! :)

So here are the Steel family:

Christopher Steel (Adult) - father/husband
Blair Steel (Adult) - mother/wife
Mercury Steel (child) - son

And introducing their kitty they adopted from the pound: "Kobe". She is quiet, clueless and friendly. She's a little bit lonely at the Steel house sometimes with everyone at school, work, or digging holes in the backyard. So what does she do? She wanders the neighbourhood and finds a good friend in Phantom Fang.

Mercury is making new friends, including Rina Caliente, but he is struggling to sleep some nights because of his dad's drilling.

Mercury grows up into a nerdy young man with the "Cat Person" trait.

One night Christopher comes home from his wanderings of the neighbourhood with a special potion for Mercury. He assures his son that he'll like it, so Mercury drinks it... and discovers his magical side! Mercury has 3 celebrity stars and so his first victims in his wand experiments are the local paparazzi. Of course, sometimes his spells backfire on himself. Before long he's conjured himself many apples, a fish, and various insects. His mother is a little worried by his growing menagerie, but his dad encourages him and brings him home a lizard for a pet.

Christopher is up to a little mischief himself. He's found so many rocks in his adventures underground that he fills a cupboard full of them. But what's really interesting is his newly built basement where he is experimenting with the spirits he's collected throughout his career. Will he finally be able to fulfill his dream to bring one to join his family?

In other news, there are lots of little ones in the household! The family gnomes Ken and Barbie had a little boy named Carkey! And Kobe came home one day looking a little plump. A few days later, she has 4 adorable little kittens that the family names Snowflake, Icicle, Sleet, and Avalanche. They soon take over the house!

Mercury is now experimenting on the zombies that turn up during the full moon. And finally, after many flame and ice spells, he gets his very own ice statue!

So that's the Steels. Next up will be the Hosni/Angelista family. :)

Thanks both of you!

I'm on a roll today so here's the Hosni/Angelista family!

Tiara Angelista (Adult) - mother/wife
Helmi Hosni (Adult) - father/husband
Rameses Hosni (child) - son

And introducing their 3 new pets: Sphynx (loyal proud and quiet), Savannah (adventurous, proud and friendly), and Nile (genius, friendly and neat).

The family has moved into a new, Egyptian style home (Helmi finally convinced Tiara to live somewhere where he feels like home - she only agreed because she got to customise it to her liking). *I think this is Ausette's build, correct me if I'm wrong - hope it's ok that I'm using it*

Rameses has aged up to teenager! He now has the brave trait, and is obviously taking after his father. He didn't want a party, as he's not a social butterfly like his mother. (meanwhile his mum bought a new dress).

And Helmi also aged up to elder.

Tiara is her usual social self, and hangs out at clubs most nights where she befriends local celebrities and is watched by the paparazzi.

Rameses has met the love his life - Catalina Malifa. She understands the pressures of a celebrity life and they get along great together. Plus his grandma is her stepmum lol. Rameses starts his photography practice with a photo of his beau.

The cats have been busy! Meet Pyramid, Cairo and Desert:

Helmi installed some pea shooters to stop the local zombies from eating his plants, but it seems to have an odd effect on Helmi - at least the pea shooters fix him quickly enough. He does a little bit of clubbing sometimes with his wife. Tiara is loving the island life, and a photo of her and Helmi, and the flowers he picked for her, really put the cherry on top.

...thanks for reading! Next will be the Grisby family. :)

Does anyone else think it is weird that Rameses is going out with his grandma's step daughter?

Hello again everyone!
I know it's been ages since I've updated, but I wasn't having much fun with it anymore. But I have been playing these families. I want to continue writing, but make it more fun for me, but I'm way ahead of the story right now. I hope no one minds, but I'm going to rush through a few families to get back to what I am playing (and therefore remember enough to write about). So there will be fewer pictures and less writing, but it won't last long, if everything goes according to plan. BUT to make it more interesting, I'm going to contrast it with pics from their first round, to show you how far I've gone! I'm also thinking I should make this a new clean thread from now, and put all that is on top in the old thread, to help everyone who's new to this. Tell me what you think! :)
So, back with the Grisbys:

Remember in the old days when the family of Walter, Yvette, and Laurel first moved to Barnacle Bay? They built their first house, and introduced little Evann into the world:

Laurel has long since moved out of home, but we'll catch up with her later.

Now, 5 rounds later, Walter and Yvette Grisby are really getting on in years, and feeling their age. Even their new little dog Egbert cannot shake them from their sedate retired lifestyle.

They've moved their old house to Sunlit Tides, and upgraded it. It now has an extra study and entryway, plus the second level has been turned into three bedrooms. They dismantled their old garden - they're too old to crouch down so much now, but they have a few plants in pots here and there. There's a basketball hoop out front, a soccer net out back, and a hot tub. What's their plan for their now big 5 bedroom house? They're not telling. :)

Evann Grisby is a wild teenager. She does everything active that she possibly can. She has many close friends, including Isolde Fang. Her closest friend is her boyfriend Bold Sargeant:

Evann ends her teenage years and enters adult hood, but she's not ready to show you her new looks yet. She's left home, and is ready to start working towards her life time wish to be a Master Acrobat.

Walter and Yvette are left to live out their final days in peace. What will become of the Grisby family home when they're gone? And will they live long enough to see any grandchildren?

Remember the Darer-Coddle family's romantic beginning? Molly and Juan's whirlwind romance took the Bay by surprise. And they soon followed it with little Jay and Ming, just in time before Juan had to pass into the next life.

Now Jay and Ming are teenagers, and Molly's done a great job raising them.

They're house has moved with them once again. They've now added a big barn to house their new pet horses!

Ming is learning to ride on her beautiful adopted mare Alia.

Meanwhile Jay is having a bit of trouble taming his own adopted horse Roamer.

Jay also spends his time with the love of his life, little Rebecca McGraw. They fit each other wonderfully. Rebecca know just how to soothe Jay when he's in one of his rages, and they love making fools of themselves together.

Jay is the first of Juan's children to graduate highschool. His mother is amazed and pleased that he's made it through. Doesn't he look just like his father?

Jay will always have a darker side to his life. Some may even say that death follows him.

But when Jay can't handle it, there's always a way to let off steam.

Ming is also looking for a life partner. Who is this handsome young man that took her to the prom?

Molly is starting to understand how Juan felt in his last years - she can feel it in her bones.

But she did manage to fit one more thing into her adult life before aging up:

Can you guess who the father is?

Great to see you've returned! I'm surprised Molly had another child. Since it is a ghost I have to guess Juan is the father.

I love suprising twists! And yes you're right - though Juan is still an non-playable ghost.

The Grisbys are there too, in case you missed them. And I'm working on the Sargeants now. :)

Back when the Sargeants first came into our lives they were fit and able secret agents determined to keep their second life secret.

Now they have built themselves a nice ordinary house in Sunlit Tides:

Complete with nondescript black van and secret doors to secret basements.

And with Scout and Bobby really starting to feel their age, they're intent on training the next generation, be that dog or teenager. (sorry no pic of Scout)

As you can probably guess, they're having a bit of trouble with one particular teenager.
Bold does what he wants, when he wants, where he wants... you get the picture. He refuses to have anything to do with crime fighting - 'life is too short to spend working' as he says. Also, according to him, his parents are just lucky he's not blabbing their secret all over the town.

Oh well. At least Gentle is taking the lessons in her stride. She's well on her way to following in her parents footsteps. She can understand her brother's point of view, but keeps that to herself. Someone's got to look after this neighbourhood, on that she agrees with her parents.
So if she's turning into a mini-secret agent, does that follow through into her whole life, like it does with her parents? Is her interest in Edward Caliente love or... something else?

Scout comforts herself over her son's rejection by training the new family pet Loyal, who at the moment is just an ordinary happy-go-lucky dog. She hopes he'll learn quickly!

Scout and Bobby pretend they don't notice when Bold finally ages up, chooses ridiculous new clothes, and moves out. But Gentle watches, aware of the loss of a sibiling bond.

[...I am struggling a bit with Bold's clothes - I just can't make them not ridiculous just now lol]

Um, what is wrong with Bold! Has he gone crazy or what? I hope he eventually gets a bit more...normal with his clothing choices...
