I just read this. It's very good! I'm sure you underestimate your writing talent (proof is here). You play and write like I play when I'm not doing a legacy story. You explore all the things the game has to offer (just having the family eat together at the table is one of those things). That's what true Simmers do. It's the little things that makes this game so awesome, what kept us around from Sims 1 to now.

My name is Valentine Loving. My mother has explained about the Loving Legacy and my responsibilities to make sure it continues. I will do my best.

Mom has been working hard on her last book. She should reach level 10 in writing as soon as it is finished. She has already mastered her painting so her Lifetime Wish of Illustrious Author is almost complete.



I just got a promotion at work. I'm now a bedpan cleaner. It doesn't sound too exciting, does it?

Carisa is learning how to cook very quickly. She is a very good wife and I love her dearly.



Querida is having her first birthday party. Her Grandpa Donnovan brought her to the cake. Isn't my princess the cutest little girl that you've ever seen? She has red hair and her momma's dark brown eyes. Where DID that red hair come from?







Querida is also very smart. She learned all of her toddler skills in record time.







I was right. Mom finished her book and is now an Illustrious Author. Now, she doesn't have to work so hard. She can have more time to enjoy her granddaughter.





I got a promotion to Paramedic. Maybe now I can wear something more professional to work.

Isn't this picture that my mom painted beautiful? I think we'll keep this one for the house. It's a masterpiece.



I've gotten another promotion...to Medical Intern.

Carisa is such a good mother. Here she's chatting with Querida.



All of the kitchen appliances and the sink decided to break at the same time.



Dad did some work on the house. He built a small carport and landscaped the front yard. He wanted to have a professional do it but no one was available.



I have been getting a promotion almost every day. I'm at level 6, Trauma Surgeon right now.

Querida is already having her child birthday. I barely got home from working an extra shift when she blew out her candles. She's still a beauty and my little princess.







Grandma Aimee has played tag with Querida most of the weekend. They sure do get along well. I hope Mother doesn't hurt herself running around like that!



Querida also does a lot of swimming.



My brother, Byron and his wife Rosa, would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Irma Loving. Congratulations!

My dear father, Donnovan Steel Loving passed away today at age 91. Mother is simply devastated. He was the love of her life.  He will be sorely missed.





We purchased the property next door for a family graveyard. We want to keep our loved ones nearby.



Byron and his wife were the first visitors to mourn Dad. And, while they were there they did some flirting. They did this all on their own. I was not controlling them.







I spend a lot of time at work these days. But, I try to be with my family as I can.

Mom is still doing a lot of painting but she's showing her age. Don't tell her I said that. She's not so old that she won't kick my rear if she hears me.



Querida is such a good little girl. She nearly always does her homework without me telling her to.



Querida had her teen birthday. Raging hormones here we come! She looks just like her mother, only with red hair.







She has been working a lot on her athletic and martial arts skills.





My beautiful wife also had her adult birthday.

Burglars must not talk to each other.  Another one just got taken away to the jail.



I taught Querida how to drive.



Querida has chosen her boyfriend. They have been friends since childhood. His name is Chance Loera-King.







My wife loves to dance...even in her pajamas.



Carisa decided to get a part time job at the book store. She said she gets stir crazy and just couldn't stand staying at home every day.

Mom visits Dad quite often and still misses him every day.

I have such a time deciding what Lifetime Wishes to give my sims that I have started rolling them randomly. I'm sure I will be doing some that I haven't tried before. Hopefully, that won't mess up my game too much...LOL

Great update! I think it is awesome that they went autonomously to the grave to mourn. I've had sims go to the graveyard autonomously, but never to mourn. I love when stuff like that happens, it makes the game all the more real and if you're playing a story, poignant.

BTW, I like how you're in Lucky Palms. I have the town, but I've not even opened it up to look. I'm waiting until I finish my legacy; afraid if I go there now, I won't leave!

I am bald. I'm just going to have to live with that fact since I can't change it. (No matter how many times I have tried to change his hairstyle, it keeps reverting back to the bald look. Poor Valentine.)



Querida loves her Grandma Aimee and they spend a lot of time together.





Carisa has just achieved her Lifetime Wish of Culinary Librarian! I'm so proud of her!



Mom wanted a kitten so she adopted Jake. I'm not so sure we need a pet but whatever Mom wants, we try to make sure she gets it.



I am now at level 9 of my medical career, a neurosurgeon.

Mom and Jake are so sweet together. Mom is 97 now and I want her to be as happy as possible while she's still with us.



Querida got to go to the Prom twice this year. My girl is so beautiful!



And yet another burglar goes to jail. They never learn!



My mother, Aimee Loving, went with Grim at age 98. She will be missed very much by everyone.







My wife still loves me even with my bald head. And I love her. She is a terrific wife.



Poor Querida couldn't go to bed so she's exhausted. It seems I need to replace her bed with a new one. How annoying! (the bed bug was at it again.) She will sleep in Grandma Aimee's bed for now.

We've done a bit more work on the outside of the house. A martial arts area for Querida, a garden area for future generations, and we enclosed the children's playground. There's still more work to be done...as soon as the landscape designer decides what to put in the bare area.





I'm also going to have to do something with all these paparazzi. None of our family is over a celebrity level 2 but we still have the paparazzi in our faces all of the time. I guess some security gates are in order.



Jake had his adult kitty birthday. As you can see, he is still in mourning for Mom.





Byron and Rosa have a second daughter. Her name is Mariana.

RIP Aimee, you will be missed. She seemed like such a great sim! Poor Valentine with his bald spot!! The kitten was adorable and the landscaping looks pretty cool!

It made me laugh that this update started with "I am bald." Poor Valentine, but I think he still looks handsome! RIP Donnovan and Aimee Loving. It's so sad when the founder dies. Querida is so pretty. I love, love, love the house. Great updates, sorry I missed them before.
