The Lovings Return
« Reply #150 on: January 24, 2013, 09:23:09 AM »
We are back! I'm afraid the first little bit of this story will be a bit confusing because I lost a few pictures AND my iPad (where I write the story) decided to reset itself and dumped what I had already written...sigh. Please bear with me, okay?

I sent Brendan to get a job in athletics right away. It might help keep him out of trouble. If all else fails, he'll get a mid life crisis LTHR. He is also an Equestrian and likes to play the drums so options are open.

Davonna is pregnant. I was worried because I didn't hear chimes and she didn't have morning sickness. But...she did the spin.

Oh, man! Minna didn't even get to eat her dinner before Grim came for her. That's not even fair! She didn't think so either. She followed Stewart's example and jumped right into her urn. She was 95.

Okay, this is funny. Brendan just got an "is faithful" moodlet for being faithful to Davonna. After rejecting her proposals all those times. Huh!

It's a girl! Please welcome Caron Loving to Sunset Valley. Caron is Welsh meaning "to love." She rolled the Dynamic DNA Profiler Lifetime Wish.

A boy was born to Daryl and Ella. They named him Bart. Bart? Really?

Caron had her first birthday. Who will she look like? Ahh...red hair and dark brown eyes. What a little darling! Is that Christopher's mouth? It looks like she has Zelda's round dark eyes and her Mommy's red hair.

Here she is learning how to walk.

And a few more pictures to bridge the writing gap when my iPad reset itself and dumped what I had written in one of my Apps.

So, we start again. The Lovings are still in Sunset Valley, and will hopefully remain there until the legacy ends. I'm not exactly sure when that's going to be. When does Generation 10 end in a legacy?

This is Adam Ursine. He's the son of Martina (daughter of Claire) and Irvin Andrews (son of Beau and Victoria Andrews). I'm hoping that he will be Caron's love interest when she is older.

Aww. I barely get back into the game and Grim pays a visit, taking Pepper with him. RIP, Pepper. And, then has a water balloon fight with Brendan.

The family graveyard is getting quite full.

Summer fun in the pool.

Rosaleen had a wish for another cat so I let her adopt Caylin. She's pretty, isn't she? I don't know why I keep torturing myself myself by having all of these pets. Probably for the same reason as in real life: They are just so darn cute!

Brendan was taken away by the Aliens. I hope the probing wasn't too invasive. The poor guy looked pretty dizzy when he returned. He decided to shake off the encounter by practicing his martial arts skills.

Caron spends most of the day before her teen birthday playing on her playground.

Oh. My. Gosh! It looks like Brendan is pregnant with an Alien nooboo! Well. This could get interesting!

It's Caron's teen birthday. I'm afraid that hairstyle is going to have to go.

There, that's better. Those lips look like the (in)famous Steel lips.

Brendan is definitely pregnant. Now, this I have to see! He's not getting any "maternity" leave so I made him take a two-day unpaid leave. (I had one other male alien pregnancy but my game crashed and I didn't get to see the Alienboo.)

I got a popup saying Brendan had "put on some weight..." and then:

What a great return! I can't believe there's suddenly a teenager in the house, lol.  :)  Caron may not be the classic beauty that her mother or grandmother was, but she's got a very cute face and wears the Christopher Steel lips very well. Adam Ursine sounds like he has some wonderful genes in him, and I'm looking forward to hearing his and Caron's traits.

An intergalactic Loving, what a surprise! I hope you had the same idea for the name of the baby as I did.  ;)

Thank you, Ausette! Now, you've got me thinking! I'm pretty sure (about 100%) it's not the same name. You'll have to let me know after my next post ;)

You have a alienboo! I'm so jealous, aliens visit my lot but my males don't get abducted. I can't wait to see the little one! Caron have the Steel lips, but she is very pretty. :)

Vofura Xoxxaw and Brendan Loving are the new parents of Erek Loving. (Erek is a Polish name meaning "lovable." ) He is brave and easily impressed.

Davonna doesn't seem to be the least bit jealous that Brendan has a child with another...another what?

Oh no! What happened to Erek?

Ah. There he is.

Cleopatra had her Elder birthday. Poor kitty. I was so excited about our Alienboo that I forgot all about her birthday.

Erek is now a toddler. Yes, he does look like an alien...LOL

Caron has put the romantic moves on Adam Ursine and he is now her boyfriend. Fast work, Caron!

NO! Not again!! Poor Brendan. I sure hope he doesn't get pregnant again. One Alienboo is plenty. Actually, I don't think there's enough room for another family member with six sims and four pets. Sam and Rosaleen are both 83 so they should be around for a little while yet.

Erek is playing with his new friend. I am just going to let him grow up pretty much on his own. He will have his own house when he becomes a young adult.

Both Brendan and Davonna had their adult birthdays. And, both of them are having a midlife crisis...sigh.

Boots also had her Elder birthday.

I have noticed that there is no sound when Erek cries or has a tantrum. I'm assuming this is normal for an alien.

Davonna is doing well on getting her Lifetime Wish (One Sim Band) completed. She is at level 8 with guitar and piano, level 7 with bass, and almost level 8 with drums.

Sam is so fast at painting that I can hardly keep up with selling all that he paints.

Boots and Rosaleen are great friends. Here they're sharing a horsey kiss.

It's Erek's childhood birthday. I guess he will always be bald, huh? And, he still speaks silently.

In an effort to save my Loving family, they got a new house. Error 12 saves and .bad files are causing me problems. So far, so good with the new house.

Caron decided to cook lunch. I hope she doesn't burn the house down. Whew! It was okay.

Grim just came for Rosaleen. She was 92. He always seems to hang around for a while after each visit.

I decided to let Mohan and Caylin have a kitten. Their attempt was successful according to the chimes. Perhaps it will keep the unlucky Brendan from having another Alienboo.

This is Byron Loving building a snowman. The gravestone in the background is being haunted by Benji kitty.

Well, shoot. Here's Grim again, coming for Sam. He was 94. So much for keeping the family population up.

That's all for now. See you next time.

YAY! You're back!
Caron is a distinct looking teen and Erek is just adorable!
First alien nooboo, toddler and child pics I've seen. I love him to pieces.  :D

Erek is adorable, and he has a lovely name! Yes, it's different to the one I was thinking of, but that name would probably only work for a female alien. It was "Venus".

Rest in peace, Rosaleen and Sam.  :( I'm also sad to see the end of the old Loving house, but the new home is gorgeous and I can't wait to see it in the sun.

Thank you, SimBlip and Ausette! Ausette, I like this house as well. It was a joint effort that worked out well. I built the basic house and did most of the decorating and MrsFlynn did the exterior, garage, outbuildings and basement nectar room, etc. I'll get a few pictures of it in a later post. It makes a great legacy house. And, Venus would have been a great name for a girl!

We start this chapter with Caron working out. She doesn't ever have to be told to exercise. In fact, it's difficult to keep her from it. Caron is already at a level 5 of athletics. She has three more days before becoming a young adult.

Good grief! Caylin had three kittens! Now, I have to come up with three love names for two boys and one girl kitty. Okay, we have Darling, Smoochie and Baby. Okay, okay, I know. But I'm running out of loving names.

Ugh! Crash to desktop! (I think my crashes have something to do with Internet access. Almost every time I lose Internet, my game crashes. Sometimes living out in the country sucks.) Will we have three kittens again? Yes. Three kittens again but this time they were born under the snow!

Sam decided he didn't like it across the street. He came home and took a nap with Caron.

And, finally it's time for Caron to become a young adult and get busy on Generation 9. Yes! Almost there! And, there's that ugly hair again. That MUST be replaced!

Here's Caron's official Young Adult picture:

Caron's traits are Brave, Genius, Athletic, Artistic, Ambitious. She will be a Forensic Specialist: Dynamic DNA Profiler.

Two of the kittens had to be placed for adoption to make room for Adam Ursine and a nooboo to join the family.

Caron went to the park to meet with Adam. Yikes! Look at his hair! And, then he had to go to graduation...sigh.

Caron runs over to the City Hall and quickly proposes and marries Adam. She's going to make him change that hairdo right away!

What a difference a hairstye makes! Isn't this better? He does have a lot of Ursine genes in him.

Adam's traits are loner, neurotic, loves the outdoors, night owl and snob. He wants to be an Illustrious Author and has neither trait to make it happen. I guess he will have a midlife crisis later.

I almost...okay, I did...forget Erek's teen birthday. He finally has a voice! Of sorts.

Another ghostly visitation. This one from Kalei.

Baby making time! Three tries but finally got chimes.

Meet our Generation 9 Loving nooboo. His name is Davin, which means "dearly loved." He is a friendly genius and will be a World Renowned Surgeon.

Erek needs very little sleep. Instead of Energy he has Brain Power. He wanders around the house all night playing with the cats and playing pool.

Right now, I am replaying the birth of Davin. I think I will need to stay with the Town Jump projects after this Legacy is finished. I'm getting way too many Error 12s and crashes to desktop, which means I have to play parts of the game over and over again. I guess my laptop isn't strong enough to handle more than a couple of generations.

Erek is finally getting some sleep. Bubbles coming out of his head? Now that's different! It looks like he's aging up normally. That's good.

Darling has grown up to be a big girl kitty.

And, Davin is a toddler. Oh, dear! Pink? No hair? Dresser and mirror...quick! There we go.

10:30 in the morning and Kalei needed to come home for a meal and a nap.

The Grim Reaper asked Caron for a date. She said no.

I just noticed that Caron is designated as Erek's step-mother. Interesting.

Kalei has been hanging around the house at least a week now. None of the family seems to be bothered by her so I'll let her stay.

Brendon has completed his Lifetime Wish of Physical Perfection.

Davin is spoiled rotten. He is always being held or played with by someone.

Grim came for the horse, Boots Loving. It was so quick I couldn't even get a decent picture. After he made Boots disappear, Grim went into the house and washed the dishes. There are only three cats left of the pets now.

Davonna still does most of the cooking for the family. She is at Level 9 in the cooking skill.

Davin has become a child. Isn't he a good looking boy!

Tomas came over for Davin's birthday. It seems the Loving family ghosts have been gathering at the family home more and more. Do they know something the rest of the family doesn't?

Yes, that is an indoor pool. The ghosts seem to swim in it more than the current Loving family.
