I'm doing a story there, too.  It makes for fantastic scenery!  Of course, William's scenes there will be destroying that beautiful scenery, so...

I've actually been reading your Who's You Daddy project. :P I don't tend to leave comments though on most stuff though.

I missed a lot while I was gone! It's always nice to be able to sit down and read a couple of updates in a row, it makes the William-ness even more awesome  :P

At night, a night where Arachne and Ava would be off for the next two days, William and Ava set off in their houseboat, The Leviathan.

William and Ava made use of the facilities, all of them actually. They needed something to pass the time while the autopilot took them to their destination.

Meanwhile, on dry land, Arachne spends a little time with Horus, teaching him to talk while Daddy is at work.

William's destination was a basic dive spot. He figured that the Treasure would be under water, so he was taking the time to become a very experienced diver. He had forever, anyway.

He also grabbed lots of kelp, and this gave him an idea. He wanted a pet, something to entertain the family, and something to study.

He had prepared a ritual that would summon a mer-pet to him, and he began to cast it under the full moon.

A resounding success! It brought Triton King into his new home. Not only was he a mermaid, he was the KING of the mermaids. An excellent thing to study and experiment on.

William carefully informed him of his new status as the brainless pet. He explained the scenario:
Triton (From here on referred to as "Pet") would be kept here until the family tired of him.
Pet will be trained to do as his masters and mistresses wish.
Pet will be experimented on by William, regardless of whether or not he agreed.
Pet will never be released, and can not escape.

William: So.. I kind of stole a pet and he is the king of the mermaids. He's downstairs, below deck if you wanna see.
Ava: Not right now stud-muffin!

William and Ava watched the stars while the Autopilot took them back. They made plans as to who would train the pet. They decided on Arachne, as she loved to have control over things, she would be enamored with the idea of training a pet to give up.

What an interesting choice of pets.  I notice how strongly he objected to William's rules...or not.

He didn't get the Chance, William left right after that whole speech. He objects though, trust me  ;D

Wow, Pet should feel lucky that William chose it. Because William could have just killed him. :)

I wonder if Mer-Pet has brains of his own. I mean, you don't just become King by being born into---wait...

May I say this: There is a theory that states the Empire of Rome falling because all the rulers were inbred. So, maybe Pet is too. :P

Pet wasn't broken in yet and William needed to ensure he would not resist the following steps, so he hypnotized him into a state of total submission. One would think a King had a stronger will than even the lowliest of William's progeny on the moon, but evidently, he lacked any sort of resistance.

Following that, William carefully mapped every part of Pet's brain, analyzing its twists and turns. There was significant potential there, too. Such a shame he never used it. Fortunately, William Stole happened upon him. Maybe this potential can be put to use. The brain of the King of Mer-folk was actually rather powerful, for an Unrelated, even if it was very simple.

Careful analysis of his biological and genetic parameters was also undertaken. Perhaps someone of royal stock can be suited to William's experiment. He took some samples of the DNA too.

William put the samples into the processor. Honestly, he doesn't expect much.

Analyzing the samples of Triton's DNA, William carefully mapped it against his own.....

Success! It's compatible, to a low level. William alters a sample of Triton's DNA.

Carefully mixing a slurry of chemicals to aid in its absorption into Triton's genome, William adds the modified sample to the concoction.

William gave Pet the concoction, and in his hypnotic state, he drank it.

Pet felt a rush. That was the best way to describe it. The pain was immense as he felt whatever was happening to him.  It felt as though every cell of his body were somehow on fire.

He voided his bladder, the sensations were so intense he didn't even notice.

William looked closely at his Pet/Experiment/Test Subject/Victim. Cackling with delight as his Mer-Pet's lack of strength against the indomitable power of the changes happening to him, he noticed. Success!  He had successfully forced parts of his genome, parts that made him superior to other breeds of Sim, into genetic makeup of another Sim. Triton was now actually good enough to be William's pet.Such a shame he wasn't one of William's offspring, then he may have been entitled to a little respect from his actual progeny. Strange, though, he did not actually input his hair color into the altered DNA......................

William: Arachne! I have a surprise for you!  I stole a pet for you!
Arachne: A puppy? A Kitten? A unicorn? Maybe a werewolf?!
William: No. A mermaid, the king of them actually. You get to break him so he can be entertainment for everyone!
Arachne: Ooohh... I love it!

Arachne: I am Mistress, and that is what you shall call me. You are Pet. You haven't earned a name yet. My family owns you now and you will do as we say. I have been tasked with training you, so you will obey me, chiefly.

Triton/Pet: No! I am Triton, King of the Mer-folk, and you shall release me at once!

Arachne didn't like his tone, or his words. She began to stab the Voodoo doll that had been bound to him.

Arachne: No. *Stab* You are Pet, until we give you a proper name! *Stab* Unless you want that name to be "Sushi", you'll shut up. *Stab*

Triton: Alright, I'll-
Arahcne: *Stab* Surely you mean "Yes, Mistress."
Triton: *Sigh* Yes, Mistress.

Arachne ordered him onto the treadmill. She watched, absently stroking the voodoo doll as he ran. He ran until his legs coulnd't support him anymore, and tried to get off.

Arachne: Did I give you permission to get off?! *Lights the Doll's feet aflame*  See, there's still plenty of spring in your step!

Pet: But Mistress! I'm soooo tired!

Arachne: Fine! Now back to your cell!

Triton was alone in his cell. He was trapped by monsters as some sort of sick pet, with no way out, he had been modified against his will, and now he had a harsh, terrible, ugly mistress!

He sat down to eat a meal of scrambled fish brain, the only thing he was able to eat right now, and began thinking of escape.
