I've been a bad,  bad,  bad Wiry, I'm far ahead of this point in game.  Let me tell you guys that I severely regret not coming up with that idea,  Apophis' undead half sister!  You're all masters and mistresses of squick!

Downstairs, an eerily familiar face walked in through the door, as uninvited as she was unexpected.

William: Arachne! How did you get here?! How's your mother?
Arachne: Well, I came through the front door, I love the amount of control  you have here. Mother? She's just as psychotic as always, brining terror upon Dragon Valley. You know how Raves can get sometimes.
William: Oh girl do I, I've been watching, but you showed up while I was making a few new Un-persons!


Ava watched silently these proceedings. She knew who the mother was... her own Grandmother.She felt her uncontrollable rage begin to boil up again, but William was so much more powerful, and she didn't know what that girl was capable of either. She had to bide her time, let her rage stew a little.


Arachne moved in close to William and began to whisper:

Arachne: Not only did I come just to see you and your moon colony, but I came to deliver a secret. There's a treasure in Isla Paradiso, a mysterious and powerful treasure. I only vaguely have an idea of what it is, and the only possible place it could be in is Isla Paradiso. It's a treasure hidden even from a Watcher. From what I read about it, it's got the potential to make you as a literal Watcher, and all the world your devoted Slaves. And of course, I get a slice of the pie too, consider it a finder's fee for your favorite daughter.

William: Very interesting. I think it's time to find this Treasure.


William informed Ava of all of these developments, and that they would need to go to Isla Paradiso for a time.
Ava was overjoyed, not only could she have a small chance of getting at William once they were away from the moon, she could steal this little Treasure. She was quickly in on the plan.


William: Apophis, we are leaving. I have selected Pallas to come along, and I have chosen you to supervise the colony. As a brainless mind slave, he added to himself.

Apophis: Yes Father.


 William was performing an  intensely powerful ritual, it would tie such a stubborn mind as Apophis' to his own indefinitely.
A side effect was that it made him omniscient for the duration of the casting. He probed Ava's deepest soul quickly, before the ritual was done, and he located a reservoir of pure hatred, and intense anger. It was not there before, but William decided to eliminate it.  He moved it Apophis.


The powerful emotions that Ava had been storing all day were suddenly transferred to Apophis. The suddenness of it all caused Apophis to take on a demon-like appearance.

William: Apophis, you are my vengeance upon the colony. When I leave, the residents of the colony will be yours to do with as you wish until I return.


William pulled Susie into the chamber.

William: Now, do with her as you wish, I will need to take her tombstone where we are going.


Ava and Nightmare started fires around town to draw the residents out, as well as for dramatic effect.


William's UFO appeared and delivered the following message:

Progeny! You have angered me, and as your benevolent Watcher, I am hurt by this. I am taking leave, along with dear Mother Avarice, Judge Pallas, and others. As I am leaving, a vengeful demon will emerge to rule over you in my place. It is a manifestation of my anger, and if I return, it will vanish.
Amidst the sounds of the colonists begging them to stay, William, Ava, Arachne, Pallas, Horus, and Elizabeth all flew away.  They say you can't hear any sounds in space, but from the terrified screams they heard, they knew this was not true.



Wiry's Note: The Over 1GB file was starting to fight me, it crashed no fewer than fourteen times in the space of Susie's pregnancy. I have made the executive decision to leave the moon for now.

 They set up shop on an island near a port. To prevent being labeled as obvious Treasure Hunters, William created a false background as a wealthy eccentric, and he bought the whole island.


Arachne and Ava (Anger and Hatred forgotten, for now) signed up with the local criminals. Arachne intends to seize control of it, and Ava is following her calling as a Master Thief.


 Pallas applied for a career in Business. He plans on switching to politics, but he is climbing the business ranks first, to acquire all of their Excavation Zones.


Ava trains poor physically unfit Arachne.


In order to find the Treasure, William suspects Diving will be required. He practices it, though his godlike physique means he can't drown, he needs to keep up appearances.


Not ALL of the time in the Mad Manor 5.0 is business, there is also some leisure, which is spent playing chess or otherwise having battles of wit. Arachne is a ruthless chess player, combining the best traits of her parents in her chess game, she is also an exceedingly brilliant player.


This has no real relevance to the story, but I gave William a spray tan, and I'm not sure whether or not to make it a regular thing. Readers, what do you think?


There are also birthdays, first Elizabeth:


Still a servant, really, but she has better status than she would have on the moon, since she is the only one.


We also have Horus, which ties the original line, as a son of Susie, who was a daughter of Magnus, to the new line, as a son of Pallas.

In play the CC hair looks much better than in that shot (See what you think later), but aside from a little makeup on the grown-ups, my sims are CC free

Wow, I've missed a lot.

First off Wiry, I request LOTS of screenshots of everyone causing havoc in Isla Paradiso because I don't have that EP, so and I'm dying to see what it looks like. Second, Horus is adorable. (Also, I like William's spray tan. I'm okay with is as long as it's a light tan.)
