After reading all of the complimentary descriptions of Lucky Palms, I bought it today. I really like it. I started with Marisol Leora (?) and married her to Donavon. They just had twins! A girl, the oldest, Bianca, and a boy, Daniel. Marisol and Donavon can't keep their hands off each other. I have not ever seen two Sims spontaneously woohoo that often. I predict there will be more babies

I agree that Lucky Palms is gorgeous. The world looks like it will be fun to build up. I will probably do my usual and jump from family to family and build up the town. I don't seem to have the focus that a legacy game requires. I like to build, to make families, and to jump around from house to house. I sort of play the entire town at the same time, sort of.

I really love the look of Hidden Springs as well. It does look like Scotland, I agree there. It's gorgeous.

My favorite town is Twinbrook, I know the townies are not pretty, but they are interesting.
I love the fog in the town and it will be totally awesome when Seasons is released, there are a lot of open water for the sims to swim. ;)

So far no comments on Sunlit Tides.  Let me put it this way, there are only two worlds I don't feel I need to remodel.  One is Union Cove because it's perfect, and two is Sunlit Tides.  I would like to see venues there so dynasty stories could be accomplished more easily but it is a truly lovely world.  It is peaceful, charming, and has really interesting townies.  I love the buildings and am currently "borrowing" some of them for my Barnacle Bay remake.
What?  Grannies can't play games?

My favorite is by far Hidden Springs. I try to play in the other towns, but always return to HS. The atmosphere there is so calm and romantic, and I like the ecology aspect of it. Also, green sims  :D Since I downloaded Sunlit Tides I have fallen in love with that too, it has the warm climate and feels laidback. I am downloading Union Cove right now (finally got myself a computer that can handle it!), and can't wait to see if it can compete with HS and ST.

For the aesthetics I love Twinbrook. I mean, it's not exactly beautiful but it has something . For playability I would have to say Riverview though. The fog in Twinbrook is really cool but it makes looking for collectables a real pain, and I do that a lot. I like Twinbrook's townies better though.

I also really like Appaloosa Plains, it's probably the most beautiful town in the game, but it plays awfully on my computer and I hate that it eventually starts crashing after a few weeks game-time.

Like I said before when I was commenting Lucky Palms (atleast, I think I said it, I don't remember ;)) I really like tropical/desert-like worlds. I always have, since way back when I first started gaming - so naturally I was all over Sunlit Tides. It's gorgeous!
I think they really succeeded in making it feel like a tropical paradise and though I've only just started exploring it with my sim I like it a lot. I was very excited to see the return of spa inspired items like the massage table and the sauna - nice additions to a millionaire's mansion :)

I'm having a great time with Sunlit Tides. It's fun to work in a volcano! And the houses are great. The scenery is gorgeous, it reminds me of when I lived in the Florida Keys.

I have only WA and Ambitions so of what I have, I love Sunset Valley still. I love the sunny, open feel of it. Then for travelling I prefer Egypt. Same reasons. Guess living in South Africa has given me a love for dry, golden climates (though I love greenery too, just not as much)

The only towns I have are Sunset Valley, Riverview and Twinbrook sadly.
I am tied between SV and RV, as I find the scenery quite beautiful for both. I am just starting to get bored of SV, because of the familiarity I have with it and because of the too much of a suburbia feel to it.
Riverview reminds me of this country town that's about a 3-4 hour drive away and the community lots are spread out more. Yes, I admit it is hard to get around Riverview, but I prefer it that way. No town in my area has a school or other lots on the main street/ town centre, so I find it more realistic.
*sigh* Twinbrook, Twinbrook, Twinbrook. How ugly you are.  :) Yes, I agree with the others that with Twinbrook you either love it, or you hate it. I'm with the latter. (Complaining session coming up) I just don't like it how majority of the starter homes are found in the swamp, where it is SO far away from the town centre and pretty much anything, and it takes so long with a taxi/ sloppy jaloppy as that is the transport starter sims would have. I don't like the dirtiness of the place, if I would have to drive by or visit TB in real life, I would be running the other direction, trying get away from it. The sims just make me shudder as well, but the hilarity of them is just wow! The pre-made families somehow don't appeal to me there, but I still prefer to play my own sims anyway.
I do also like the look of Sunlit Tides and Lucky Palms, but I won't be getting it in the near future.

TB really is yuck. But I must say I have spent a large portion of my life living in properly run-down areas and the truth is that people there don't have much to care for than each other. They define family to me. But TB? Still don't like it. Too dreary, the mood of it.

I reset the poll and added EA's newest town Moonlight Falls.    Have you changed your mind since you first cast your vote?

Okay.. I may or may not like Lucky Palms a bit better than Hidden Springs after a few sim days of playing there.. My heart still feels like it belongs in HS though, so my vote remains!

(Lucky Palms is awesome, though!)

Moonlight falls is now my favorite town. It is amazing all the houses are so beautiful and I have no problems what so ever playing it. No freezes at all. I use to get them in Starlight shores and I have a really good pc and graphic card.

I think I have a new favorite, it even passes bridgeport!  And it is...drumroll....Moonlight falls!  I love how there are also some normal sims there.  And it's flat so I don't have very much trouble placing lots.  There's a lot of good premade houses for sims with a husband and a kid for when I'm feeling lazy or in a hurry and don't want to build my own house.  I also love some of the familys storys.  I particularly like that family(i can't remember the name, sorry!) that is all supernatural skeptics, yet their toddler has been turned into a fairy!  I also think suernatural skeptics have a lot of interesting interactions.  The scenery is also beutiful, and the houses, and especially the community lots.
