As for the towns I don't have, Bridgeport is the one I find most appealing. I love the big city vibe of it. And, thanks to one video I saw, I've already picked the spot I'd want my Sim to live in after they became rich and famous, and moved out of their big city apartment.

If you get Late Night; Bridgeport is the town for parties. However, if you hate vampires, go to another town, because they are rampant in Bridgeport. Personally, I find the other towns tooooo sleepy. I'm a city girl and love the atmosphere in Bridgeport. I revamped it for Showtime and Pets. My sim is presently fulfilling her singer career, and when she hits "Vocal Legend", she'll slack off and get a ranch to raise horses.

I will have to make a list in order of what I like best/least, since everyone else has done it. I think it'll be easier to explain:

1.Hidden Springs: I like Sims that look different and unconventional, so naturally, HS is number one, which is what I voted for. The scenery and landscape, is amazing, and it goes great with my favorite EP, Pets, and SP, KPST. It has a lot of bloat yes, but I've had a ton of fun with the new townies.

2.Appaloosa Planes: I'm a pet lover, so naturally this will appeal to me. I love the Midwestern feel to the town, and my favorite Sims are there too: Gracie Loveland and Hetty Lionheart. More unexpected pregnancies than SV, and more interesting genetics.

3.Barnacle Bay: The pirate theme! Again, I love frivolous, silly themes, which is what attracted me to Sims in the first place! The pirate theme reminds me of my favorites, Spongebob and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Caliente Sisters are there too! I love the return of TS2 Classics! And I still play with them on TS2 today!

4.Riverview: My Sunset Valley! I know the town all too well, and will use it for games and challenges, if I ever get back to starting an unofficial immortal dynasty. (I need my mods!) The Sims have fun personalities, and interesting genetics, as well as my classic Sims (the Broke Family-my favorite from TS2! Don Lothario, and the Newbies!). My favorite family the Grisby family is there too! I'm getting back to it as soon as Supernatural comes out!

5.Starlight Shores: I love the LA feel to it, and I still need to play it more, but I'm sure once I do, I'll like it even more than I do now! It reminds me of Hollywood which I love!

6.Bridgeport: I love the Vampires and what not, unlike most people, as well as the townies, but playing it was such a pain in the rear, until I got a new graphics card. There's not much room to play in BP, which is a huge disappointment, but other than that, it's a great town to play with.

7.Twinbrook: Very fun interesting Sims, and I like that they look different. I love the swamps, which adds a bit more to the gene pool I barely play it, and I would love to play it more so. Some may say "ugly," I say interesting genetics. Why should my Sims have to look pretty or perfect? I like that my Sims can be as pretty or ugly as they want, and no one will ever make fun of them for it.

8.Sunset Valley: I guess I just know the town all too well, and hear too much about it. I think it's the most bland town, with the same old story progression stuff. SV was great at first, but I got bored easily.

Bridgeport is quite the city for storytelling and general screenshots. I've found that is unforgiving towards regular gameplay, though. I set my last freeplay there, with 15 or so CAS families I would cycle through. There's just no extra room, and for a world designed off a big city, it feels way too limited and confined.

The scenery makes it my second-favorite EA world, though. That is, until I get Lucky Palms. LP looks like it might compete with Twinbrook for my love. Even the townies sound fascinating.

Sunset Valley is a nice place, and with the updated version that Naga keeps up it's a good place to start. I get bored with it very quickly however, because it's the town that I've used all the time. Some point I'll have to have a go at "upgrading" the other towns in a similar way that Naga upgraded Sunset Valley.

Riverview is probably my second favourite. It's beautiful, quiet, and has some interesting characters.

Twinbrook is my favourite. Can't put my finger on it, but the characters, the houses, and the theme for the town is awesome for my playstyle.

Apploosa I haven't done much with - the only story I've had running there has been a story focussing on an inventor and the simbot they create, so I haven't had much interaction with the town as a whole. Gameplay wise it seems to be solid.

Bridgeport is just too laggy for me to use, which is a shame because it's a nice contrast, and so far the only town with lots of apartments, which is a shame because I like apartments for two reasons - Good starting place for sims, and good place to send the kids when they grow up.

Hidden Springs is a nice one as well, I'd put it on par with Riverview. Again, haven't done much with it, however.

Barnacle Bay I've never managed to get to work. Both times I've reinstalled Sims 3 Barnacle Bay doesn't appear as a selectable world, despite having all the extra stuff that comes with the world package.

Lunar Lakes I'm finding growing on me. Initially I was very annoyed by the lack of any expansion material in it, but my immortal legacy there seems to be doing reasonably well, and it's a nice change to the rest of the worlds.

Starlight Shores I've not looked at. Wasn't particularly amazed by the showtime careers, so mostly spent my time in other worlds.

Union Cove is too large for me to run on my computer, unfortunately. It will work for a short while but then the build up of resources in it just gets too much and the lag starts building up massively. Shame, because if it worked well for me it would be a favoured world for me to use - while some of the characters I'm not so struck on (Real life Celebrities that I don't particularly care about / haven't heard of [Sheen, etc.]), the building-work is gorgeous, and the city layout makes sense, and it contains everything from the expansions, and is likely to be upgraded as the expansions continue being released.

Since ive got Lucy Palms I wish I could change my vote!!!!
It has definatly gone to number 1 in my eyes! I love that the designers have left heaps of empty lots to place all of the extra buildings, the parks are nicely set out and I like the layout of the town. Money well spent on my part.

I love love love Sunset Valley and Twinbrook. Sunset Valley because of the greenery and prettiness, the central park is awesome too. Twinbrook because of the quaint country kind of feel. Then again, I love Bridgeport because it's totally the opposite, a hustling bustling city.

Not a fan of Riverview really.

Sure, Lunar Lakes, Lucky Palms and Hidden Springs are beautiful, Bridgeport is the biggest, but i prefer smaller suburban towns like Sunset Valley or Twinbrook. Also, i know almost everything about Sunset Valley, so it gets my vote  :)

If you revamp Bridgeport, you'll find it has a lot of space. It's the only city I play (except for some custom worlds). The inhabitants in Sunset Valley and other towns are boring. My Bridgeport, after modifications, is a blast. The clubs are loaded each night, I have room for another 20 houses (saving space for my heirs), 3 live show venues, one private venue and Holli Poloi (spelling?). I also have a casino and space for the Equestrian center when my sim quits her singing career. I had as much lag in Sunset Valley and other towns, as I do in Bridgeport.

I voted for Riverview, I just like the feel of the place and the Sims in it - and there are children for my Sim's young ones to play with! I quite enjoyed Appaloosa Plains when I loaded it up at first, but I made a park and got quite concerned that the only Sims I ever saw in it were either my own, or Elder/Adult Sims. I like Sunset Valley but it can get a bit boring after a while, whereas I don't get bored in Riverview (ironic, because I'm sure Riverview is smaller, though I may be wrong).
I'll be honest and say I've not given Twinbrook much of a go, I played one game there and it got glitched so I had to do an uninstall/reinstall and then I just started up back in Riverview. Bridgeport is another one I've only played one game in, my Sim became a vampire (it suited her) but I've come to the conclusion that I am not a city girl and I loathed the subway system and I'm not a fan of the apartments. Mind you, at least I've played games in those two towns, more than I can say for Starlight Shores! I only picked up Showtime two weeks ago and I'd started a game in Riverview and I can't be bothered to move my family seeing as some of the Showtime lots have appeared in Riverview :)
I don't have any of the Store towns and I don't have Union Cove, beautiful as it looks, I really don't want my computer to have a hissy fit at me.
Grr Argh!

Right now, my game in Bridgeport is rampant with kids! I'm saving spots for my generations and am finding ways to make more housing for the townies. Quite a challenge. My sim isn't ready yet for a family, so, prime spots are reserved for her offspring. I'be revamped many houses to accomodate townie familes at a low price. Things are moving along.

Twinbrook was the first town I played and it is still my favorite. I love raising families and making expensive houses in the swamp. The views from there are really cool. When I bought Sims 3 (had to wait on a computer upgrade) I bought the bundle with Ambitions and one other EP, so I started up Twinbrook right away and never played Sunset Valley.

I still haven't played Sunset Valley! So I'll probably start a legacy family in there at some point to get familiar with it.

Second favorite is Riverview. I get frustrated because placing new lots is difficult. I like them to line up with the roads. I kind of miss that about Sims 2, where lots snapped to a road.

I also like Appaloosa Plains but have not played it much yet. I REALLY spent a lot of time in Twinbrook. I have almost 20 families there.

I just bought Hidden Springs, but I like it now that I've cleared out all the vampires that seemed to sprout up overnight. Is there an anti-vampire hack? I really don't like them. How do you do a realistic legacy family when vampires pop up all over the place?

Sounds like I need Lucky Palms. I love desert terrain. I'm working on a desert world of my own, Coyote Valley, though it's not very far along. CAW and I have a love/hate relationship most days.

I'll admit I'm biased towards any neighbourhoods that look remotely European, because I'm British. For this reason, Hidden Springs is my favourite so far because it looks like Scotland or Norway or somewhere like that. I love mountainous regions and forest and fairytale-styles, and HS has all of those. I also really love the stories of the townies. The Cinderella-themed one especially and also the story of the long-lost twin brothers Dany and Davy, who in themselves are unbelievably cute.

Riverview is my second favourite because it seems quite traditionally English, though I haven't the faintest idea whether it was supposed to be. I played the McDermott family for ages in that town and it runs pretty well. I suppose I just really enjoyed the peaceful farm life and they're a loveable family. I also love the family in the haunted house. I used to play this Casper-inspired story where Cody Remington and Kirstie Remington befriended the young couple's first daughter, Jenna. It was a fun little story to play.

I'd say that so far the bronze goes to Lunar Lakes because of its uniqueness and I always thought it offered a lot of opportunities for fun little stories. Anything that seems mundane and boring suddenly becomes unbelievable when you stick it in an alien landscape. Also, the craters. Have you ever just taken the camera up to one of those lakes and looked around at the alien forest? It's amazing!

I fell in love with Sunset Valley by first sight and still playing this world when TS3 released! I just feel comfortable when I play Sunset Valley and a huge, huge thanks to StoryProgession that made Sunset Vallet much more exciting and I just love Sunset Valley more. I feel familiar with these residents and their stories in the world.

My second favorite is Hidden Springs. As soon I saw Sebastian Vanderburg and Ella Carlisle portrayed beside TheSims3-logo with "Hidden Springs"-title below, I knew that I was going to love this couple. After I played the Vanderburg family, I explored Hidden Springs' nature and it was very similiar to Norwegian nature and I am proud of my country's nature and I love it, then I liked Hidden Springs very much.
What that not makes Hidden Springs as number one, is the problem when I tries to place new lots in the world and Hidden Springs' wavy terrain makes it very difficult :P

I like Sunset Valley precisely because of its familiarity to me. I know almost everyone, so I basically know who to choose most of the time for spouses and friends, and often I know who works in the Business career (my favourite) so I can make friends with them without having to waste any work time on meeting co-workers. I also like the sims - they all seem to have a bit of personality (is that weird?) to me and I like their stories.
Facts are stubborn things.
