Maybe you could keep a record and count the LTW as done when you reach 40.000? Of course Metro would have to aprove it but I don't think it would be too bad. Obviously you won't have the happiness points, which is still a disadvantage, but at least you could still do the challenge.

So can I tally up how much my sim earns selling horses and have it count towards completing the Jockey LTW? My game isn't registering horse sales.

The Jockey only counts what you earn as a jockey. The Horseman career counts both jockey earnings and what you make from selling horses and stud fees.

Okay, I just got The Jockey LTW with only $10,000 in winnings plus level 10 of riding. Given that both ratchie and Ricalynn have reported the same experience in their dynasties, can we assume that this is an across-the-board typing error, or does everyone in this challenge have to get $40,000 in winnings regardless?

I am jealous as I've never been before in my life! My sim has earned about $25.000 with horses (competing, selling horses, stud services...) but The Jockey still counts only $10.000 (probably the amount of competing only). It's so frustrating!

Anyways, I'll keep praying for this bug/error to pop up for me too  ;D it would be the first expected and desired bug of all times!

I do not know if it's an across the board glitch. And it's not that you have to get 40k in winnings. It's that you have to complete the LTW. Once you complete the LTW, then move on.

Aha! I knew I saw a 10k amount somewhere! And I think I read that there is a 'typo' in the Jockey LTW. In the DreamsAndPromisesNodes_xml it says 40k, but in the ChallengeDelegateFunctions _xml it says 10k. This is probably what is causing the glitch. I don't know enough to say which resource will take precedence, or if it will always take precedence. But there it is.

LOL, it sounds like the sim-god heard my prayers! I sent my sim to the races, she won and suddenly completed The Jockey with $10.650 simmoleons earned. It looks like it's a pretty common glitch anyways. I had never done The Jockey before though.

So many glitches with this challenge... must be just a Pets issue.  I too had the Jockey LTW register as complete even though my sim was neither level 10 or had $40,000.   My winnings stopped adding up in the window at $11,325 .. no matter what race money I won the LTW still showed   $11.325/$40,000   so I just had my sim reach Level 10 in the Jockey Career and since the career earnings totaled in the career window were more than $40,000  (no studding or selling any horses) I was just going to count that one as rightfully achieved.   Of course as soon a I get towards the end another glitch pops up  The Canine Companion will not hard register my sims dog friends.  My sim had 3 dogs that were BFF, they registered as 3/15 in the LTW window.  When my sim put the completed friendship dogs up for adoption the count went to zero,  0/15 in the LTW window.   My other sim who is doing the Cat herder also is down one cat friend following putting up one of the cats for adoption.  Since both need 15 total friends and a household can't hold 15 characters I'm at a loss as to what to do other than being allowed to tally up the pet friends ourselves to 15?

Does the ghost pet have to be in the household at the end of the challenge, or at any point in time and can be moved back out again?

I think the Ark Builder is bugged too. I have every animal/insect required but it's still not registering. I have tried putting them in the sim's inventor, taking them out of there, releasing one animal and catching it again... nothing is working.

I've tried everything I can think of too. Even making sure I had a male and a female of each species. I wonder if there's anything about 40 days and 40 nights? I'm pretty sure that's not it, because I've read about other people completing it as soon as they collect the final animal. But I'm wracking my brains trying to find out why it won't complete.

Yeah, pretty annoying. I could use the happiness points, LOL.
