Isn't one of the lifetime wishes bugged, as strays can't be adopted without cheats?

I've never had a problem adopting strays without cheats

Unless I've missed something (entirely possible!), shelter adoptions also will count towards the LTW.

Shelter adoptions DO count towards the LTW. I've never had a problem.

Yeah I just went through that recently .. for the LTW The Animal Rescuer,  shelter adoptions do count, for me the bug comes in when it comes to the Wishes Panel being fulfilled... Adopt a 'stray' wishes won't register if you adopt from the shelter.. at least for me.

I seem to be having issues with the Ark Builder LTW.  I've read the thread here and at the Sims 3 site and I still can't get the LTW to register.  I have two each of the horses, cats, dogs, turtle, rodents, snakes, lizards, birds, beetles and butterflies. The horses, dogs and cats have been in the household for just under 4 weeks now, the smaller critters and bugs were staggered over a couple of sim days and they have lived in their cages in sims house for a full 3 sim days now ( I had read you had to have all pets for at least 24hrs for the LTW to kick in)... sim interacts with all of them but still can't get it to register.  A few are from the 'cat' (the snakes, a beetle and a chinchilla) does that matter?  Do they all have to be caught by the sim itself in the wild?... or do the cages have to be stocked with the stock option?

*Update*  I spent almost another sim week having my sim get rid of all minor pets and re-catch everything on her own in the wild.  I even made sure the beetles had 'beetle' in the name (no 'ladybug' or cockroach ect) She's had them all now for 3 full sim days and still no Ark Builder LTW registering.  She has almost max relationships with all the main pets and I even tried making each main pet name her their BFF ... still nothing.  I was wondering if it would be ok to count this LTW even though it's not officially being recognized by the game?

I'm having the same problem with 'The Arc Builder' in not registering.

Yes, that's fine. As long as you fulfill all requirements for the LTW, then you can count it as complete.

I'm in! I'll most likely fail since I have no experience with Pets LTW but still  ;D

Is the money requirement part of The Jockey LTW only for winnings?

Chuckles I am pretty sure that selling horses and sending a stallion out to stud bring in the money too.

So, just to clarify:

The Collection Helper LTR does count as a Pets LTR in this case, right?

Sorry to double post but I have another question:

Do Pet-skills count? Like hunting for dogs, racing and jumping for horses etc? I didn't see anything about it on the first post so I thought I would ask.

I guess I have two LTWs bugged then. I can't clear The Arc Builder, and horse sales aren't counting towards The Jockey LTW. It's a real nuisance, because those are happiness points my sims could be using to buy LTRs.
