Photo frames

I've noticed some photo frames in the buy mode after installing Ambitions. I wonder what they actually do to the game. I thought you can now put self made photo's in it but I am not sure. It wouldn't make sense though, because with World Adventures the photos I've shot can already be hung on a wall. A photo frame isn't required for that.
None of the sims I play now has the photographic skill by the way (if that actually has something to do with it) so I can't test it right now.

Is it something that comes with the game when Ambitions is combined with World Adventures?

Not that I know. Now you mention it, I never had put one on my lot.

The new photo frames you are referring to are digital and you just have to load them with pictures you take with the cell phone or with a camera.  The picture will change like a slide show.
