How do I make my sim a firefighter in Lunar Lakes

Ok, so I custom made a fire station in Lunar Lakes so my sim could become a firefighter. It's listed as a community lot/fire station, but my sim cannot get a job there. I've tried the computer, and by using the map, but it doesn't seem to be an open. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help!

Do you have Ambitions installed?

Did you make sure to have all the items that were needed for the profession?  You placed the alarms, fire engine and everything? Could you possibly give us a screenshot of how it looks in map view?  To do this, it will need to be a print screen so it will show the maptags.

I have a fire engine, but no alarms (whoops  . I'll see if that fixes it, and get the captures if it doesn't.
And, yes, I have ambitions installed.
