What's your building speciality?

I've noticed that some builders have an area they particularly excel at. (I won't name names and embarrass them  ) but some are good with colours, some are good with modern or traditional builds, some are good at landscaping or being really imaginative.

If you had to choose one thing you do best, what would it be?

I'm good at being random.  That's my only talent is the fact that I'm completely random.  I'm bad at landscaping, homey touches, color choices and furniture placement.  But I can make a crazy person feel at home anytime.

Random is good! I love looking at a build and thinking 'wow, didn't see that coming!'

I usually look at house plans and try a little bit of everything. I don't know that I'm any better at one type than another.

I'm not entirely sure what my speciality is when it comes to building Simmie houses.  I just know that I'm really bad at landscaping. I like drawing my ideas/house plans out on graph paper and then "draw" them out on a lot.  Sometimes the translation from paper to screen works out well, and other times it doesn't.

I think I'm best at medium sized buildings.  I never really put that much effort into building small homes, and I have trouble filling big buildings, and I don't like how it takes me a really long time.  I also usually fill up most of the lot when building, and don't have much space left for landscaping

Hehe, I like medium sized buildings too, though, I guess it depends on what we consider medium!  Lol.

I'm best at making box-like, boring houses with no landscaping to speak of.  Oh, by the way, thanks to all of you who are more talented than I am and who are generous enough to share your builds so my sims aren't stuck living in box-like houses for their whole lives.

My favorite part would be the decorating . When I see a house, I already have an idea as to what it should look like inside . I do enjoy other parts of the build also but the decorating would be my favorite and that's where I spend the most time.

My speciality is probably functionality. My houses don't look very pretty, but they are efficient. The Sims living there can get to where they need to go and do what they need to do.

I think I'm better at accurate replicas of floor plans and historic homes. Such as Victorians, though some of the ones I've seen are much better, though sometimes have too many bathrooms. Which is better for simming, but not for accuracy.

I tend to stuff as much furniture and decorations in a room as possible. My Sims can barely maneuver around them, but at least they have great "Nicely Decorated" moodlets.

I like making medium sized houses - between two and four bedrooms, maybe a little more - with alcoves, nooks, and lots of decor. I'm a lot better at the traditional and country styled homes than anything else.

My favourite things to build are bar/club conversions of EA lots, or other EP lots that fit into the pre-existing town. I can't say I have an actual specialty anymore though, the Building Contests have really expanded my horizons.

I stick to Modern/Contemporary style houses mainly because I'm terrible at doing the roof section on other types of houses. I'm "ok" at best on interior decorating and  awful on landscaping which oddly enough I do for a living.  lol
