"Some objects could not be loaded and were replaced"
« on: June 25, 2012, 09:05:33 AM »
I got this message when I started up my game this morning, but I did not uninstall any objects.

Does anyone have any ideas about what could have caused this message?

You didn't uninstall anything?  No EPs or SPs?  Did you just place a lot or was it a random occurrence of the file you played last night is not saying this this morning?

I haven't added anything between yesterday and today, and I haven't added any new lots. I started up the same game where I was working on building a park. And I went to edit town, and looked at a couple lots I had worked on recently, and I didn't see anything missing or different.

Did any of the lots you were working on contain store items or custom content?  I've randomly lost access to store items before and I had to go back into my purchase history to download them again.

I do have a lot of store items... It's funny though, I didn't notice anything different when I checked out some lots.

It hasn't happened again when I started up my game.

My launcher always says that when I install homes, even if it just has base game objects. If it doesn't actually replace anything I woulnd't worry about it.
My Builds
Sweetwater Cafe and Nectary
Growing Family Home
Sunset Valley Fire Department
Savey Simoleon Mall
I welcome suggestions and constructive criticism about any of my builds on their threads.

We've run into this problem as well, in one of Hubby's games. Hubby says he's not sure when it started.  It seems like it's started somewhat recently, but before we purchased and installed Lucky Palms.

He had backed up his Sims 3 folder to test some things out. When the problem started, he copied his saved games into his backup folder and made that his Sims 3 folder. That seems to have fixed the problem. He also suggests a Factory Reset and re-install of the store items could also help if you don't have a backup Sims 3 folder.

Hope this helps, :)
