I guess I am just confused then.  I had never heard of not being able to finish after starting, like I said, mine has always finished and I didn't know of any cheat to know what it is ahead of time.  I like surprises anyway, lol.  Watch, now that I have said that, it won't work now.  lol.

Same with the inventors table.  If they are working on something big, I can pick up where they left off, but I have always been able to do that with sculptors too.  You mean you have to start over on a statue after they stop?

This is happening in my Wishmaster game with both sculpting and inventing.  If they stop an invention partway, it just disappears.  The sculptures are still there but the sim can't resume working on them - the only option is to scrap it.  It's particularly annoying when it's a sculpture of someone outside of the household and they have to invite that person over again.  This has been happening only since two of my sims returned from France, and there were other problems resulting from that trip.

Ah, interesting. Yet another traveling related bug.

Oh, I see.  Like Metro said, travel related.  I guess that explains it then.  I have not taken any of my sculptors or inventors on vacations, that I can remember.  Wow, add another to the list.  Will have to remember that then.  I just added a sculptor to my wishmaster challenge and he is going to be the only one.  He won't be going on any vacation.  LOL

Another odd sculpting thing in my Wishmaster group is that they have been producing sculptures that are nothing more than flat round discs.  The first time this happened, I thought it was related to the sculptor's Insane trait, but the others do it sometimes as well - mostly when they're doing an ice sculpure of someone (I can't remember any other time it's happened).  It's bizarre, but this disc-thing satisfies their wish to sculpt someone, and the message comes up that Sim has completed a great sculpture worth whatever.  Has anyone else had this?  It was happening before the ill-fated trip as well.  ???

I think someone posted a picture of that, not sure, but I did see it somewhere.  I have not had that happen yet, but I am getting ready to jump back into my wishmasters now, so only time will tell.

One of you should start a new topic to discuss these problems with the Sculpting profession or add them to an existing thread if one exists.  This thread is for advising Carl of corrections to the Guide.  Thanks!
