Messed up family tree, and can't interact with a Sim

i went to egypt for a couple of days. did adventures, and got my vacation home. I returned home and looked in my family tree, and my sim is the only one there, but her family memebers are still alive. she has a mom and dad, sister, nephew, and son. her and her baby daddy, are not together. when I click on him(barry tenderlove), it does not give me any options, so i moved him in and still nothing happens. when i make him click her, it gives me opotions. now I cant view her family tree.

What you describe is a known traveling bug in the game.  Unfortunately, there's no solution for it unless you have a saved copy of the game file from before the traveling happened.  It's a game breaker when it happens if you don't have a backup to go back to.
