Legacies on console

Has anyone ever done a legacy on a console before? I've been wanting to do one, but the rules are for PC so some of them can't apply. (I'm specifically referring to the ten gen legacy, where you have to buy a big empty lot) Are there different rules for consoles?

Yep, I'm not huge on raising too many kids, so I usually only have one per household anyways.

For me they were called the Johnsons and i started with 5 sims!
Grandpa Larry and Grandma Sally
Mother Sasha and Father Jamal
and son Daren

Now i have
Father Daren and Mother Eva
Son Ashely and his wife Chanda

There was a dog at one point (Don't it makes it a lot harder)
