I was expecting the wishing well to be a bit different ( a little more well-like, like the one from Sims Medieval? ), but it looks awesome anyway! Any clue how much it costs (in-game), and if it can placed on residential lots?

I won't know anything else about the wishing well until it's available for purchase.  It should be only another hour or so until that time.  Then I plan on writing out all the information I can get my hands on for you guys about the town like we did for Lunar Lakes.    If you're someone who wants to know something, don't forget to ask so I know what info to write down.  Although, my first thoughts were to write down all the inhabitants, jobs, traits and skills for chronic dynasty starters like me.

That'd be great, Rica! I've purchased all of the store worlds so far ( and I love them! ), but I'd really like to know more about this one before buying it.    I might be playing a dynasty there!

The wishing well is at the heart of Lucky Palms history!

Armed with an ancient treasure map, three brothers made their way across the desert and found the fabled well of wishes! The first brother wished for wealth and he was showered with gold. The second brother wished for power and when he returned home he was appointed the mayor of his town. The third brother wished for love, met the girl of his dreams, started a family, and founded a town near the well that survives to this day.


Here’s how it works!

GAMEPLAY:
 •Wish for Love, Wealth, Power, Happiness, or even a Child!
•Make sure to dip your fishing hook in the Well – you’ll catch some amazing fish regardless of your Fishing Skill level!
 •If you have the Tree of Prosperity on your lot, pixies and fireflies in the Well become very active in the evening!
•If you have The Sims 3 Pets installed, the Child you wish for may not be what you expect.
•If you’ve got sticky fingers, you can steal coins from the Well. You may get wet, or you may get lucky.
 •Slot Machine Includes additional functionality when the Wishing Well is installed in your game: Use a Lucky Coin that you steal from the Wishing Well to play for Lucky Coin stakes (equivalent to §1500 Buy-In) to increase your odds of hitting a big jackpot!

With ample parks, recreation opportunities, and a thriving culinary scene, Lucky Palms is an island of green amid shifting sands. Standard Edition is on sale for 2100 Simpoints and the Gold Edition is on sale for 3700 but neither one is working because they just took down the store to get it integrated.

2100 Simpoints vs. 3700?  That's a huge difference!  What does the gold edition have that the standard edition lacks?

It says the gold edition comes with the casino. -Which it's self costs 1900 points, so it should cost 4000points! Its a good offer of 3700

I already have my downloaded as I've been waiting for this place.    There are four empty 64 x 64 lots not including the spot where the casino is supposed to go.   There are also a lot of other slots to put things like the Ambitions buildings, Pets Buildings and maybe even Showtime Venues.

Glad you were able to grab it already Ricalynn. I am having trouble. Liam is all I am getting at the moment. So I guess that is because everyone is trying to download.  I will just wait patiently and keep trying.

I heard about that in the chat they had. I was happy to know that they had left enough room for us to put lots down and add buildings. I can't wait.. I'm wondering what kind of trouble Colt can cause in Lucky Palms.

I'll take more screenshots and stuff after I'm done checking everyone out.  I've already gotten half the town written down and after I'm done this once, I'll go back over to see if anyone has any varying skills like they do in Starlight Shores.
