Now to see what Shirely's mom has to say! I was listening to Coldplay's Viva La Vida while I wrote this just so you know.
We follow Kayla Shirley, down the street. Pass where the school should have been, and she went up a pass that lead to a house that looked a lot like The Alto's mansion. But it's not, it's been seven hundred years, they are all gone. Gone.... My stomach twist in knots and I start crying again, it's all different! I remember riding on my bike past the rich house on the days my mom was mad. Now I am the one crying. Warren's arms don't leave me, they are all that hold me together now. If he lets go, I will let go. And I will be nothing more. She opens the door and we all follow her in. "Mom!" Shirley screams. A lady who looks even more like Kayla emerges, I stop crying. I would never cry in front of Kayla, but this isn't Kayla. "Who are these people?" She sks, her voice stings like glass shards on my face. "They are Hailey Finnly and Warren Abnegation." He mother's face grows colder, like that was even humanly possible. "We need to talk, I'm Ayla Salt." Another reason, Ayla+K= Kayla. She shoos the younger children outside.
Her face reminds me of a freezer. I laugh, "What's wrong with her?" KAyla asks. "I'm trying to find sense in all this madness, you are all figments of my imagination." I say addressing her. I laugh again, I am no longer sane. "We just need to know what happened." Warren says calmly. How is he calm?! "My explanation," Ayla says. "Is that during the storm, the school was placed into a state of oblivion because of the over norm winds." "A what?" I ask. She sighs, like I should know what she's talking about. " Oblivion, no time, lost. The winds were much stronger then Sunset Valley had ever experienced. And, since the school was the location with the smallest about of body mass. They had moved most people to safety shelters by then, so it took the school. Either that, or you are crazy." Were probably crazy, but it was all real and whatever logic she just spoke has to be true. "Impossible.." Becky mutters. "Highly unlikely, yes." Dale says. "Impossible, no." My head swims.
"So either we dreamt a vey elaborate dream, and me AND Warren just so happened to have the same one. Or we were in a PWTwhat ever?" She nods. "So none of the others got out?" "As far as we know, no." "As far as we know? So they could be a alive and you guys didn't know?" I ask, "Highly unlikely, but yes.' I groan, "Can you guys stop acting like you are all scientist!?" I scream. "I just want to hear YES or NO! I want to know whether me friends are alive or dead or if they even existed!" I mimic her next, "None of you,'Highly UNlikelys!" I've had it, I am going crazy. I embrace it, I will embrace it and let it consume me, it will be easier that way,
I look at them one more time, before wiggling out of Warren's bonds who hold me together and run. I throw the door open and speed down the path, narrowly missing getting hit by a kid on a bycicle looking thingy. I run, I can't run forever. But I will run as long as my feet will carry me. Ayla is hiding something, I just know it....
Hope you liked the update! Thanks to judewright for Oblivion, it originally was PWTDNE.
