From what I can tell, unusual genetics stop after the town gets going.  The only thing that could effect new families is saved hair colors, clothes and eye colors.  As far as I can tell in my games that is.  Did you see what I said about maybe waiting for Moonlight Falls if you're getting the EP?

Sorry, Rica.  Yes, I saw that and meant to respond.  I'll be getting the Expansion Pack, but I'm not going to worry about when I start a new Immortal Dynasty.  I had new EPs during the first one and just dealt with whatever problems came my way.  I'll just do the same if I play a second one.

Wouldn't you have trouble playing Twinbrook because there's no legacy lot? I couldn't find another 60 OR 40 lot. Unless you have CAW and can create one.

There is a designated dynasty lot and if something is on it, it's within the rules to remove whatever is there before you start the game.

That's true except...there's already a 40 equestrian center on it. Unless no horses are wanted in the game.

It could be moved.  But I forgot that Twinbrook's lot is only 40 x 40.  I don't know if I would like that.  I won't do Union Cove, either.  I would rather play an EA created game, plus UC would make my game even slower in the later generations.

If you're doing Midnight, just stick with Appaloosa Planes. It'll jump start on her Cat herder LTW, and she can of course befriend Miss Hetty Lionheart!

I don't think I'd be able to do the Cat Herder LTW with a Dynasty founder.  I had a hard enough time just getting it done for the Guide article.

I'd love to see Indigo or Midnight do a dynasty. But I'm sure it will be fantastic whatever you do!

I'd like to see Indigo have her day in the sun. If it were me I wouldn't use any of the other immortals, but either Indigo or Chartreuse would make for a good story with the whole second chance thing.

I would definitely love to see either Indigo or Chartreuse as the founder. As for the town, Appaloosa Plains, Barnacle Bay and Hidden Springs are my favourites right now.

I for one wouldn't go with Hidden Springs. I believe it was the cause for the end of my last attempt.  :-\ Starlight Shores is treating my current Dynasty quite well, it's less for Beauty and more for convenience though I think. The Dynasty Lot is up in the hills though. One downside is lack of skilled Sims, plenty of Showtime Career Sims though.

Another vote here for Midnight or Indigo, with Chartreuse as a runner-up.

I'm biased towards Riverview myself (my personal favorite, plus there's a lot of room to place extra lots), but if not there then Starlight Shores or Lunar Lakes would be cool because I don't have either town yet and they sound the most intriguing to me - therefore, I can live vicariously through your posts as what I want to see is the only thing that matters, right?  Right?!?  ;)

Midnight had his chance, he was an heir! I would love, love Chartreuse (hope I spelled it right) or Indigo. Those were the most intriguing Dreamweavers to me.

1. Chartreuse
2. Indigo

Midnight was the little girl born after the immortal dynasty was over.

For some reason I can't imagine the Dreamweavers in Lunar Lakes I would quite like to see them in Starlight shores isn't that where all the stars go and we all have to admit that the Dreamweavers are the stars of the forum when it comes to dynasties.
